🐾 A "Paws-itively" Kind Visit!
We had a very special, squishy, and pink visitor last month. Our new Well-Being Mascot stopped by to help us celebrate the virtue of Kindness. Ss filled "Kindness Bones"with acts of kindness to feed our new pup after it helped out in the snow!
Centering our hearts💜as we prepare for Easter. ✨My Lenten Retreat station invited Ss to create "Prayer Stones"—a physical anchor for their spiritual goals, reflection, and prayer. So proud of the intentionality they brought to this journey. 🙏🏾🪨✝️ #LentenJourney#FaithInAction

A simple pretzel can tell a big story of tradition and prayer. It was wonderful to pause and share this moment of learning and community with my Grade 6/7s.
Wishing all my fellow educators, Ss, and families a peaceful ✝️

Black History is Canadian History. 🇨🇦Students celebrated Black History 365: Inspiring Hope – Reclaiming Narratives! 🌟 Every class researched a different influential Black Canadian, and then came together in a school-wide scavenger hunt to explore and share their discoveries.
Identity is more than meets the eye.🖼️ My 6/7 Ss used mixed-media to tell the stories of Black icons, blending Jover’s "distorted" style with the personal interests of heroes like Johnnie Christmas. A beautiful look at how Black Excellence impacts us all! 🎨✨ #BlackHistory365
We had such an incredible morning with Canadian author @KhodiDill! 🎤 Our Ss were locked in as he shared "Welcome to the Cypher," teaching us all about the power of words, rhythm, and finding our own voice. Huge thanks to @DPEquity for making this happen! 📚✨ #BlackHistory365
