Assistant Headteacher (T&L) and Head of Religion, Ethics & Philosophy at a secondary school in Warwickshire. Lover of travelling and new mum to a little one!
@williamskl2 @Read_Learn_Lead Thank for such a kind offer, I would love to see your policy if that's possible please? In the process of reviewing ours and am keen to make sure it incorporates a positive impact on staff wellbeing as well as student attainment.
@opodo not only this but you refused our request to use the cancel for any reason travel insurance we bought with you ahead of any cancellations of flights. We asked for details of the insurance company to contact them directly but customer service team refused to give this us.
@opodo we are still waiting for a response from you 3 months after our initial contact. We are being bounced back between you and the airlines all refusing to grant a refund despite the flights not going ahead.
@opodo Does anyone know how to lodge a complaint? I was told by Opodo it could be found on their home page but somewhat unsurprisingly I was unable to find it... 🤔
@opodo Update: apparently we have to contact our insurer regarding the cancel for any reason policy but none of the paper work states who the insurance company is, and despite being bought through opodo, opodo are refusing to say who the insurance is with??
@opodo @Opodo_UK we bought the cancellation anytime, which states we must cancel no less than 48 hours in advance (we would be flying on Thursday) and directly with yourselves on the phone line however everytime we ring we just get told no agents are available and the phone goes dead.
Some great discussions from Yr 10 yesterday surrounding the nature of reality, "can we ever fully understand without walking in everyone's experiences?" #lovep4c
@philosophyteach Thank you 😊 We used the image attached to this of the blinded statue by the artist Pawel Kuczynski (he has some great images to use for p4c).
.@jeremycorbyn is right to say children's chances have been damaged by school cuts and austerity. In recent NEU survey 60% teachers said they'd seen an increase in pupils coming to school hungry since 2015. Hungry kids aren't ready to learn #ITVDebate#VoteEducation#GE2019
The Tories are "uplifting" education, Boris Johnson says. That's a good one. Under his party real-terms spending on schools and colleges has gone from £95.5bn in 2011/12 to £87.8bn last year. Almost £8bn cut: uplifting indeed. #ITVdebate
@MissClarkeRE I use a catchphrase style revision resource- put into pictures and they have to guess them. Works well for students to draw then for each other too 😊
