Today on #orangeshirtday my class discussed residential schools and the terrible ways the children were treated in them... we then discussed how we should always feel when we enter a school such as “loved” “appreciated” “cared for” and “safe”. And this was our finished product!

Today’s reason to update Alberta’s curriculum: We live in a digital world. For the 1st time we specify that learning how to type is just as important as learning how to print and how to write. In English L.A., students will start working on their typing skills in kindergarten.
