@RosieP4@BraintreeDC@JamesAbbott2013 This was always likely. The evidence against this planning application makes excellent reading and would have many wondering how on earth it got past in the first place. Anyone at the hearing wouldn’t be that surprised by the latest assault on nature.
The mask has really dropped now, if there were any doubt who the real extremists are, it is #Sunak's government - threatening to take visas off protesters and stirring up anti-Muslim hate.
'He said "words matter" - now he's going on about "mob rule" - God, make your mind up.'
@sangitamyska highlights the 'weapons-grade hypocrisy' of Rishi Sunak branding protesters as 'mobs', despite stating it's important to 'choose words carefully in the current environment.'
Please watch this commentary by Welsh farmer, Steve Evans @Evsthetractor who is calling for more integrity from the supermarkets to ensure that farmers receive fairer financial rewards for their produce.

“For 1kg of apples purchased in a supermarket (about 6 apples), the apple grower has costs of 76p, yet receives in profit just 1% (3 pence) of a selling price of £2.20.”

Thanks @morrisons for changing your FreeFrom sausage recipe but NOT putting new recipe on the front to alert people. Family member with a yeast intolerance is not enjoying the experience. Yeast is often added to inferior products to boost flavour. Definitely poorer quality.
@Saralimback I work with a production nursery in Essex, they have spent several years developing peat free composts for the different crops they grow. The production manager reckons they are better than any of the peat products they previously used. Now bagging and selling them retail.
@wvgmltd@JoeWStanley@the_brc Gov’s only interest is in share dividends and off-shoring climate commitments. Their insistence on importing greater % of our food is going to end in tears as climate events affect supply and prices. Have they learnt nothing from history? Food self sufficiency is vital.
Well done @TheNewsAgents. A truly excellent piece of political satire from Donelan, even throwing in a William Hague impression that Rory Bremner would admire towards the end of the clip. Her future after the next election is assured 🤔
Gary Lineker should face rebuke for getting impartiality wrong... but BBC board member Robbie Gibb may have been 'misunderstood' - the Culture Secretary gives us her take on BBC impartiality.

'Opportunistic, dishonest, callous, cruel, disingenuous, deceitful, uncaring, contemptuous and gross.'
A fuming James O'Brien destroys Health Secretary Steve Barclay over his 'disgusting' claims about striking healthcare workers as the NHS is 'on its knees'.
@mrjamesob
@RosieP4 Nice piece @RosieP4. It looks like shareholders getting worked up. + enjoyed the Freiburg article. Dr Stefan in the comments is right, plc developer control would need to switch to public sector delivery for it to work. Graeme.M touches on local & central gov reforms being vital.
@wvgmltd Interesting. We are growing different crops and use 2 types of CC. One (frost destroyed) we can plant straight into as soon as weather allows in Early March. The other will grow on until mid March as we don’t need the land until April. Glad of the cover during this wet period.
Exciting project for me to be involved with. Year one has been testing but we are already starting to see improvements and have been getting some great feedback on the tasty produce. Olivers plants sustainability @wvgmltd https://t.co/amHXw8sszt
@wvgmltd From a UK perspective, those in power more concerned about their political existence than resolving food shortages, climate or cost of living. Getting all the big calls wrong. Political system needs drastic overhaul.
@JamesAbbott2013 Anyone who has had dealings with BDC in recent years knows that they have never had robust controls over developers, it actually appears to be the other way around. Let’s hope their next leaflet is more honest about the failings delivered during their period in office.
@JoeWStanley If successive governments had spent as much time making sustainable building a legal requirement and forcing housing prices down to nearer cost of production like they do with food, most ppl would be able to afford to eat better quality, environment friendly food. Ship sailed.
@JoeWStanley@KatePressland I fear encouraging cheaper options has absolutely nothing to do with benefiting consumers. In 20yrs time when X product is shown to damage health, the ppl making these decisions will be long gone and enjoyed any monetary gains
