Spent almost the entire month of June in Maui and reflected on how important it is to have a network/village. 25-26SY, let's remember it's better to partner than to poison & build than to burn. We need each other to make this work. Parents, students, & colleagues.

Today I signed the new Complete Streets bill, sponsored by Ald. @Schweitzer88
When updating our streets, we have to make sure that the designs are people-friendly. Updating our Complete Streets legislation helps us achieve that goal. #SaferSTL
I am hearing reports of some airlines only offering flight credits to passengers for cancelled flights. Let me be clear — you are entitled to get your money back promptly if your flight is cancelled and you don't take a rebooking.
@HoneyGuwop@Dr__Donte I couldn’t disagree with you more. There are many individuals that have made ways, pioneered, and given life to many areas in academics that no school or book could teach them.
It is my honor to announce that I have made history as the first black woman to receive a PhD in Physics from @GeorgiaStateU! During this journey I attained:

In 2019, I experienced the heart-wrenching loss of my son. In 2022, during my visit to Eisenhower HS, I had the privilege of meeting someone named @Super_jordyn who immediately reminded me of my son. This connection deepened in 2023 when I attended an event, and Jordyn warmly greeted me. Touched by the joy he radiates, I named him my honorary Superintendent. Throughout his senior year, Jordyn kept me updated on his endeavors via Twitter, bringing me so much joy. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. @RANESIAEDWARDS and Jordyn’s mom for suggesting we take a picture together after his graduation. In that moment, overwhelmed with emotions, tears welled up in my eyes as thoughts of our dear Joe Jr. flooded my mind. The music started playing and we started dancing. Thankfully, my husband managed to capture this beautiful video, which serves as a testament to my immense pride in Jordyn’s accomplishments.
The epitome of Black excellence and Black love!Congratulations to my sister and brother-in-law on 30 years of being the true example… PS this is one of the first times I did not crash their anniversary trip.
When u’ve done right by ppl, stay strong & silent! The real truth needs no defense. Let the clowns be 🤡 as they recruit other 🤡 to join their circus and tell half truths. As I sat on the beach in Miami yesterday, I just made sure payroll is not missed. #oversight
