@MsHarrington201 Love this idea. This activity will show students that you can find science everywhere if you look hard enough! Different processes in science and math happen in nature and in life all the time. #CLBSTEAM
@MsHarrington201 What a cool idea. This looks like it would help me, someone who knows next to nothing about neurons, understand the functions. Would you limit the amount of materials they use or let them use whatever they can find? #CLBSTEAM
This resource outlines the steps of making a podcast with your students. This would be extremely cool to use as a small weekly assignment or a large assessment. You can use any app you find accessible for recording. There are tons out there! #CLBSTEAM

I'm most excited about using low-tech in my classroom. I want to implement a project using straws, paper, scissors, index cards, etc. These activities get students thinking creatively, problem solving and putting things together in ways they didn't know possible! #CLBSTEAM
In #CLBSTEAM I've learned that I can have my students working on high-tech activities without expensive equipment. High-tech does not require teacher specialization. I'm specifically eager to try Tinkercad.
Low-tech activities are great for teachers looking to get their students into more hands on learning. My students will be using paper, straws, scissors and more low tech equipment to create a model of an Industrial invention! #CLBSTEAM#MakerEd
Working in groups can help students share and expand upon their creative ideas. Students in my class will work together to create the best designs possible using low-tech essentials such as straws and tape! #CLBSTEAM#makerEd
@LiddellZofia Learning about culture behind and origins of different pieces is so important for our students. They will surely have a newfound appreciation of art and culture from this!
@MsHarrington201@HowStuffWorks I love the interdisciplinary nature of this! As well as the pop culture reference. This will surely get students interested, involved and learning a lot! #CLBSTEAM

Students will develop an ask before designing their idea. This will allow students to take part in the engineering design process while utilizing civic skills. #CLBSTEAM#MakerEd

How do we honor our Black soldiers who fought bravely in the Civil War? My students will be developing plans to reach out to local town officials and designing monuments to honor two Black Civil War veterans from their very own town. #CLBSTEAM#MakerEd
