When I first started working around @UseApexNetwork, I honestly thought of it mainly as a crypto platform.

But the more I learned about the brand, the more I understood that there’s a much bigger story behind Apex.

For me, the most interesting part has been watching how a brand that started with a strong African focus has continued to expand across West Africa, East Africa, Europe, Canada and the US.

Six years in crypto is not a small achievement either. This industry changes so quickly, and a lot of platforms come and go. So seeing Apex continue building, expanding and adding more ways for people to use digital assets really stood out to me.

It’s not just about buying, selling or swapping 200+ cryptocurrencies.

There are gift cards, USD virtual cards for everyday subscriptions and e-commerce, Apex Pay for sending and receiving crypto, and even utility payments.

And then there’s the usage behind everything.

Hundreds of thousands of crypto transactions processed. Over 1M gift card transactions. More than 80% of transactions happening at night.

That last one especially caught my attention because crypto doesn’t operate on a 9–5 schedule. People trade, send money and make payments whenever they need to. Having 24/7 support makes a lot more sense when you look at it from that perspective.

Even seeing Brain Jotter associated with the brand shows how Apex is pushing beyond the usual crypto audience and making digital assets feel more familiar to everyday people.

After working on Apex content and seeing the different sides of the brand, what stands out to me most is the consistency.

Six years of building.
200+ cryptocurrencies.
