@toluogunlesi One tribe believes the other is intellectually & socially inferior and should be mocked into that position, the order adopts a position of 'if you can't naturally respect me as co-equal human being, then I won't allow you to enjoy the benefit of me being in the union'.
That's it
"...we needed an extra plane to bring home all the electronic material that we captured in those (ISWAP) camps. And the haul was three times bigger than any enemy electronics haul since 9/11. "
Interesting... hadn't realized the joint U.S.-Nigerian raid on ISWAP recovered electronic devices on such a scale that an additional plane was needed to fly them back to the U.S. for intelligence exploitation.
Just last month, Nigerian troops in the North-East seized over 400 Starlink satellite internet terminals used by Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. This shows the growing technological sophistication of these terrorist groups and their dependence on modern communications.
@renedescartigbo@ShehuSani You started on a wrong one. I am hausa, as long as I know of my ancestry (5th Generation) we are hausas.
Now with this knowledge, reframe your questions/suggestions or conclusions.

@toluogunlesi The bitter truth is what we are always side-stepping.
Across the divide, majority of us believe there tribe is above the others (black racism).
We inculcate in our children that we deserve so and so more than the other tribe and that the other tribe is the problem.
@ShehuSani The 1st time Tafawa Balewa was traveling to Lagos as an elected MP, a person from d south denied to be seated next to him cos he claimed to be better & above him. Denigrating him. That's the cause of d 'Born to rule' jibe.
Since the beginning, some felt they are above others.
@renedescartigbo@ShehuSani The irony is that you can't defend this your assertion with facts.
For example, the only people that ever claim to want to establish any 'Islamic agenda' are not Fulanis, but majority are KANURIs.
Some Fulanis might be might be at 'war' in the north central, but it's a recent one
@KarounwiAdini It's sometimes overwhelming. And from experience, it feels as if at times, people are attacking you in person (cos some have the habit of condemning the whole North).
But, wallahi deep in there, we all know we are in deep trouble, uncompareable to any zone in Nigeria.
@KarounwiAdini Bro, Ideally everyone is supposed to be very occupied with the problems more prevalent in his zone, the north more so. Cos we are stagnant if not moving in reverse.
I believe his 'outburst' stems probably from a feeling that people are blaming him in particular when discussing NN
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 In another hadith, he said;
"O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy, for none enters Paradise except through Your mercy."
Also, ask any Muslim about the hadith of a prostitute that quench the thirst of a dog and that of a woman who tied a cat. All trying to points that only Grace do
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 Here is a hadith of the Prophet that is found in the of two sahih books of hadith.
"No one's deeds will ever admit him into Paradise." The companions asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Not even me, unless Allah wraps me in His mercy and grace."
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 I repeat the word buying isn't used for any special meaning, let me rephrase my statement.
In Islam a lifetime of prayer, hajj and others deeds will not admit anyone into paradise (salvation).
We can discontinue the debate of "buying and achieving" now.
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 Wallahi Tallahi! I am not trying to win an argument here. Wallahi I am not lying. What I know is that;
Once, the Prophet was asked by his wife, why do you bother yourself with prayers after God has already promised you salvation, he replied, " shouldn't I be a thankful servant?"
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 Being Muslim or not is another topic that can be discussed on its own, now we are discussing whether Islam fundamentally differs to Christianity in that in Islam, its not God's Grace that determines salvation (which I oppose).
Except we are done with the first discussion.
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 And that's what I am saying. That even though only God's Grace can save us. We still have to abide by some things that become more easy and naturally through our connection to God and his grace (we also are more able to resist the temptations of the flesh).
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 In Islam, faith is not only internal conviction, its a living entity that naturally produces actions. Our deeds & pillars are not a 'checklist', it's first, a way of thanking God for his Guidance, it's also an evidence of faith & a way of communicating & drawing closer to God.
@BerhanePhilipos @SourceOrSauce@Deenresponds@ZugoRoberts7677 I think you actually misunderstood Islam.
In Islam, a lifetime of prayer, hajj and other deeds can not "buy" a infinite reward of Paradise. Just like Christianity, God's Grace is the ultimate deciding factor. The diff is how our faiths view relationship btw Faith and deeds.
