@jphilipz @kubuntu It will boot from either a USB stick (19.10) or from the DVD (20.04 pre-release). The live version works well in both cases, but Gparted cannot see the SSD.

@jphilipz @kubuntu Yes. I just tried a thumbdrive with Kubuntu 19.10 on it and the same thing occurs. The live session appears to work well, but it still cannot see the SSD to install.
