Just found out why our street is named "Mamer" Rd. It is named for Lt Nick Mamer, pilot, WWI Vet, and one of the founders of the Northwest Transcontinental Airway. He was the pilot for the airline's first Spokane to Seattle flight, on Dec 3, 1933, in a Waco Biplane.
