NEWS: A 43 year-old man who is a teacher at Maphovela High School Mahlabathini in Ulundi has been arrested for allegedly raping goats and infecting them with STIs.

The man, who is also a pastor, is alleged to have raped the goats between April and July this year.

The affected goats were taken by SPCA officials yesterday to a safe place.

The police in KwaZulu-Natal confirmed the case and said the man is now facing charges of bestiality and will appear in court later today - KZN Tonight Podcast

The Madlanga Commission has heard evidence alleging that Major- General Feroz Khan used EFF leader Julius Malema in an attempt to “trick” the then Inspector-General of Intelligence, Setlhomamaru Isaac Dintwe, into making false statements in 2021.

According to evidence before the commission, Khan allegedly enlisted Malema’s assistance by supplying, through an intermediary Mohammed “Mo” Sayed, parliamentary questions for the EFF to ask Dintwe.

Investigators claim the questions were designed to trap the Inspector-General, undermine his credibility and pressure him into making statements that could later be used against him.
