AP Biology at Mount Tabor observing pill bug behaviors so that we can design experiments to test those behaviors. Stay tuned for our results! @Tabor_City
Congratulations to the newly inducted members of the Mount Tabor National Honors Society! We are so proud of all of your hard work and can’t wait to see what you do at Tabor City!
Science is back @Tabor_City ! Ended a great first week with practice using the scientific method in all levels of Biology with leaf tests and pill bug experiments.
What is your potential? Osmotic potential that is! AP Biology @Tabor_City students using dialysis tubing to determine unknown solutions. Next week, using osmotic potential to determine sucrose amounts in different apples varieties. Good luck on midterms!
Determining why cells are small is an important for understanding diffusion across membranes. AP Biology students @Tabor_City took this idea and designed their own cells. Congrats to the gentleman of AP Bio for the most efficient cell by mass!
As a young, Black, female scientist, @KizzyPhD has become the example she never saw when she was growing up.
