In part 4 of my Rogers analysis, I discussed how he will likely be integrated into Alonso's system. Following are some of the quotes from that article:
1. Overarching logic:
"Due to the quality of Chelsea’s central players — Rogers, Pedro, and Palmer — Alonso will almost definitively design the system in such a way that it extracts the best out of them. Further, the trio’s close proximity would also allow them to easily link."
2. The Pedro—Rogers connection:
"At Villa, Rogers enjoyed playing with Watkins, who admittedly is a different type of player compared to the Brazilian striker. Consequently, I expect there to be the emergence of different dynamics between Pedro and Rogers — one where there is more on-field spontaneity as they interchange responsibilities of a creator and finisher."
3. Influence on the system:
"As for the broader system considerations, on the ball, I actually think that there will be minimal pre-determined instructions from Alonso. I would expect the trio to be provided the license to float, combine, and create within central areas as they see fit rather than be provided with fixed spatial references."
The broad idea that I shared regarding the close central combinations and spontaneity aligns with Alonso's description in the interview with @MenInBlazers about building a "socio—affective connection". I strongly think that this will be a crucial theme of Chelsea's attacking play next season along with the broad tactical flexibility.
Emegha is a faster, stronger, less polished version of Joao Pedro. Two-footed finishing..but less technique in his shots. Great hold up and good link up play.
For me his height and heading ability could help us when we're chasing a goal against low block.

Club legend Cesar Azpilicueta will retire from football at the end of the season.
Congratulations on a superb career, Azpi, and thank you for everything. 💙
Dear football,
Today, I want to share with you that this season will be my last as a professional footballer. After so many years living my dream, I feel it’s time to start a new chapter in my life.
Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career.
When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way.
To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege. Every moment has meant so much to me…
