🚨 Palestinian lawyer Khaled Mahajneh revealed harrowing details about what detainees from the Gaza Strip are enduring in Israel’s Sde Teiman detention facility, including extrajudicial killings, amputations without anesthesia, and killings.

🗣️ In a media interview, he said that thousands of Palestinian men, women, and children are being held in the facility, which was established after the war, where the most horrific forms of torture and abuse are allegedly carried out.

💔 Quoting detained Gaza journalist Mohammed Arab, he said: “Each detainee is confined to a marked space they are not allowed to leave. They sit, sleep, pray, and are tortured there while blindfolded and shackled.”

⚠️ Arab also described detainees having limbs amputated without anesthesia and being forced to witness the killing of other detainees, including children, women, and girls.

❗Arab warned that 400 Palestinians from Gaza will effectively be executed within a few months because the world has failed to act against what he described as unlawful Israeli practices.

💢 Seven Palestinian police officers, including member of Gaza’s female police unit, were killed Tuesday when Israeli forces struck the Jabalia police station. The interior ministry identified them as

- Muhammad Salem, police captain in Jabalia
- Yamen Obeid
- Abdul Malik Abu al-Jibeen
- Ghassan al-Daqas
- Mufid Halawa
- Ibrahim Mousa
- Fatima Zaqout, a member of the women’s police unit

Personnel from the same station had been accused this week by UN humanitarian coordinator Ramiz Alakbarov of obstructing a WFP aid operation in Jabalia. Gaza’s Interior Ministry strongly rejected the allegations, saying police intervened during a chaotic attempted theft and discovered contraband inside aid trucks. Israel’s COGAT agency, which manages the entry of aid into Gaza, later amplified Alakbarov’s statement to accuse Hamas of seizing aid and undermining its distribution — hours later Israel struck and killed 7 officers at the same station this morning, continuing its systematic assault on Gaza’s civil security police and personnel. Some 3,000 of the 10,000 Gaza civil police officers have been murdered by Israeli forces, including a large percentage who were on the job.

🚨URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him.

🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness.

🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment.

🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.”

🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.

🔹The group has appealed to Israel’s attorney general and prison service demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination, and an urgent judicial visit “before it is too late.”
