Oman is trying to prevent a massive war in their backyard. Facilitating diplomacy is such a basic and obviously good behavior for states to engage in. But Iranians in their infinite entitlement and naivety accuse an ally from the days of Mohammed Reza Shah, of being "shameful".

The argument comes from an incredibly stupid "my country is older than yours" position. Does this give China or Egypt the right to interfere in Iran's affairs?
