Butt butt...it's good for our GDP doe! And we can medicate those understandably restless kids & todlers with all sorts of SSRI's & ADHD medications! Win win, 'Murica!
It’s absolutely mind boggling how our society has normalized dropping our young kids off at daycare five days a week for eight plus hours a day, all so we can endure long commutes to jobs that mostly just cover the steep costs of that daycare, the car eating up gas and maintenance, and a house or apartment we’re barely awake in long enough to enjoy.
We’re stuck in this exhausting hamster wheelworking harder and longer just to afford a life we hardly ever get to live, trading precious family time, presence, and memories for a paycheck that often feels like it barely breaks even.
@plutarchtros@elenasbarre Even a prominent Orthodox priest was saying "die for your wife everyday". But I'm out here thinking shouldn't I also try to live for "my family" & live in success with say a business? In economics, commanding a high price = receiving high value, funny how trads forget that w/ men
I've noticed a disturbing trend among the pro-natalists lately.
Specifically, they have started telling men that they NEED to have children or else our civilization will be overrun by foreigners or disappear altogether and any man who dares question this assertion is superlatively, nay, cartoonishly evil.
You know who else stridently tells men that they must sacrifice everything, and that any man who dares questions this demand is evil?
Feminists and leftists.
Feminists demand that men sacrifice unquestioningly for the good of the women.
Pro-natalists demand that men sacrifice unquestioningly for the good of the children.
In both cases, men must sacrifice themselves utterly and without question. No amount of suffering is too great a demand.
The only difference is who you must sacrifice for. And neither side considers the man's opinion relevant to the discussion.
Pro-natalists are running the same tired leftist propaganda playbook, albeit wearing a more emotionally appealing shade of lipstick.
And the most hysterical thing of all is that both sides remain absolutely baffled as to why men are not listening to any of them.
It's a Scooby-Doo mystery!
I was interviewed yesterday on The Resurgence, with Nick Barnes. The questions were intelligent and to the point, and they allowed me to make some critical points about the divorce/custody machinery that are still not well understood.
@JontiAllegra@helen_king35 Definitely true. I feel terrible for a lot of the men I've known having to deal with witches and b1tches for wives. I try to help them and encourage them when I can
@Brian_Sauve Children are a gift from God & I think they actually belong even more to Him than any parent here on earth. So it's not in our authority to make that call to end their life before it even begins. Way I see it at least
