Below is the Executive approval for the power agreement under which Asante Berko was convicted.
The prosecutors stated emphatically that $46,000 in bribes was allegedly pushed through Ghana’s Parliament in 2015 to influence members of the then NDC Majority Caucus and get the deal approved.

Let that sink in.

These emergency power purchase agreements reportedly went on to cost Ghana about $1 billion every year from 2017, leaving the Akufo Addo administration with the difficult task of dealing with the burden.

Meanwhile some people claim the opposition has no moral right to speak on issues affecting this country.

If corruption, reckless contracts and the misuse of public resources are being discussed, no political party should be above scrutiny.
