This delivery man delivered something to me, and I paid him while he was waiting for the alert and packaging his other packages. He heard someone over the phone telling me Happy birthday. He asked me, " Boss, is today your birthday and I said yes and he asked me for cake I told him there’s no cake but I have food and I invited him inside to eat.
As we were eating he was telling me how difficult life is as a dispatch rider. After the conversation, he stylishly asked me what phone I was using and I told him and he said “You be boss oh”
The man left and came back this evening to hand me a brand new screen guard and a new phone cover for my phone and said it is the only gift he can give me as a birthday gift.
He doesn’t even know what he did for me today with that gift. I think I cried a little after he left.

I went through the comments and all i see is that many of you just want to justify laying his heavy hands on the lady.
No matter the level of provocation, a real man does not resort to physical violence or trade slaps with a female.
The moment the guy lifts his hand to hit the lady, he strips away his own dignity and exposes a deep violent misogyny that he tries to mask under the guise of equality.
And those of you cheering on the guy for slapping the lady have completely lost your sense of humanity.
No offense.
I promise you, there used to be a time…
The nation is poor and bleeding.
About ten years ago, once it’s November, you’d begin to smell Christmas on the streets, in the local shops, in churches, even in schools.
A lot has been stolen from us, basic things now feel like luxury.
@Dr_Afo For half of Nigerians, it’s not enough that they are successful they’ve to remind us of other people’s failures as a yardstick to their success.
