Just returned from Istanbul and bought this to read on the plane. Fascinating text for a window into the Muʿtazilī reception of ḥadīth (less critical than I expected tbh). It reminded me a lot of al-Ṭabarī’s Tahḏīb al-āṯār, though I’d consider his work to be far superior.
