I've created a new game for Game-Like Jam 9 on https://t.co/O7neEOroq1, taking PacMan as a starting point and adding lots of evil nasties, such as arrows, conveyor belts and sentient acid drops. Written in JS, it evokes early '80s graphics and sound.

I've submitted an entry for Dungeon Crawler Jam 2026!
Inspired by early 1980's games, Dragon Stone Dungeon runs natively in browser. #dcjam2026

Added colour coded keys and doors to my homebrew game engine for browser. Now I can unleash hordes of monsters 🧌 on the player at the turn of a key! 🗝️ 'Barbarian' sprite image is a 3rd party placeholder. #indiedev#retrogames#pixelart Almost #screenshotsaturday! 😀
@nickluvsretro Agree 100%. I like C, but I also like object-orientated design, and have found C++11 gives me most of what I need. I guess modern C++ has some good points, but also some really complicated stuff, and it seems like a different language.
Added 'missile' sprites and collision detection to my homebrew game engine for browser (written in vanilla #javascript). Now I can destroy hordes of green monsters 🧌 with my flying battle axe! 🪓 Sprite images are 3rd party. #indiedev#retrogames#pixelart#screenshotsaturday
Added 'enemy' sprites to my game demo for browser, (entirely written in vanilla #javascript). No combat implemented yet, so this is like playing hide-and-seek with friendly green monsters 🧌. Sprite images are still 3rd party. #indiedev#retrogames#pixelart
