@TeamYouTube I’ve been using the “remix” feature and creating videos with YouTube creation tool in app for my YouTube channel. But I have received multiple content ID claims and now a copyright claim and strike.

According to your policies I am allowed to do this. Please help.

@TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators so no more help then? You clearly have a flawed system in which you encourage people to create videos using the remix feature but are not protecting them if there is repercussions..

@YouTube @TeamYouTube does anyone have a suggestion how I can avoid this next time? If using the inbuilt remix option of videos and following guidelines gets me a copyright strike what am I supposed to do going forward?

@TeamYouTube I followed the steps and YouTube guideline’s on how to make a short with the use of the remix feature. I created the video using the YouTube creation tool in app. Thus following YouTube guidelines. Why did YouTube allow me to remix the video if it is not allowed? That’s my issue

@TeamYouTube This is my issue. The video that I received a copyright strike for I created using the remix tool. The source video ALLOWED me to remix it. I followed YouTube guidelines and created my video with the remix feature and the YouTube in app creation tool. Please help.

@TeamYouTube I have received content ID claims on other content created the same way. But this one is a Copyright Claim - Takedown and I have received a strike. I used the remix tool and created the video using YouTube creation tool.
