The use of force against students protesting in Jharkhand is wrong.
Students have a right to peaceful protest, and only dialogue can yield solutions.
The Jharkhand government must continue to hear these students out and resolve their issues immediately.
The excessive use of force against students who are simply asking questions about their future must be thoroughly investigated.
An independent, judicial, Supreme Court-monitored inquiry into the alleged use of pellet guns, tear gas canisters, and brutal lathi-charges is essential. Those found responsible must be held accountable and punished.
Students should never be met with force and intimidation for raising their voices. Their concerns and demands cannot be silenced.
Home Minister Amit Shah must answer. He cannot evade the truth тАФ why were students met with such brutal force, intimidation, and alleged mistreatment when they were simply raising questions about their future?

Pellet guns, Nail-studded lathis, tear gas fired at students who were peacefully asking questions about their own future.
Young women beaten by policemen, many injured on their private parts. Minors with broken bones. This is how the Modi government answers a question.
And the Home Minister? Nearly 20 days and Amit Shah has not come to Parliament to answer for it. Every Opposition motion for a discussion has been rejected.
His silence is not an oversight - it is approval of the violence. He is either culpable or incompetent.
We demand a Supreme Court monitored inquiry. And we will not stop fighting until he is held accountable.
