@paintedko Whats funny is that theyre actually describing Katara’s dynamic with Aang. Unfortunately, the only difference is that Katara is never allowed to be anything but supportive and understanding; she’s almost always forced to coddle and comfort him, even when Aang lashes out

@ThunderTheDevil This battle was so disappointing. Trip was a bad rival, but he still deserved a 6v6 against Ash. Feels like the writers just gave up on him.

I really wanted to see his full team. He had some cool mons that probably would have been fully evolved (chandelure, jellicent, vanilluxe)

@dvotackatri @electricgold49 I wouldnt say you were completely accurate. Zuko as a character wouldn’t treat every girl this way, he doesn’t hate everyone but Katara. His problems with Mai are caused by their clashing personalities & ideals. They simply do not see eye to eye; it’s really both their faults

@electricgold49 Becuase obviously in my opinion Zuko wouldnt be that way with Katara. They just seemed way more compatible and that has a lot to do with the fact that the writers did a more thorough job of developing Zuko's relationship with Katara than with his own girlfriend

@Thanadess @lennnyyyg That’s true, but he still should have been worried about her imo. Mai betrayed Azula and Zuko knows how ruthless she can be. If it weren’t for Ty Lee, Azula would have done some damage

He didn’t need to cry during the play, but he should have at least acknowledged her existence

@notjustbtstras1 This isn't even the only instance where he's done this. Dimartino wrote a book back in 2016 where the main character ends up in a love triangle with 2 older girls.

@lennnyyyg @zukokins So true, Mai & Zuko are fundamentally different characters and I HATE when people try to lump them together because they're both emo/edgy. He is an idealist that had to overcome years of indoctrination in order to live as he truly is. Mai completely lacks his convictions & morals
