Ok this is starting to feel like a f*cking disaster.
The CEO of Anthropic just published an article admitting AI is already building the next generation of AI by itself.
He says within 6 to 12 months a rogue swarm could take over the entire internet and cause hundreds of billions of dollars in damage.
And what makes it scarier, Elon Musk just backed up everything Dario said.
All of this dropping just days after Jacob Coxon went viral with his warning about AI and the extinction of humanity.
Tell me this timing isn't strange.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
I guess the saying is true scared money doesn’t make money. Only problem is I have under 300 in my checking account and I’m saving for tuition. And if I’m wrong my parents kill me.
I saw $WindChill at 50k and I had zero money to put in because I’m a broke college student with no capital. New to crypto, but people love cats and dogs for some reason from what I’ve noticed.

I think this is an adequate summary of the first few pages or timeline philosophers, concept applied to self, and, author’s experience.
I could confidently put into my own words what each section talks about.
It goes from talking about philosophers beliefs to then showing how this apply to you “the view you adopt for yourself” and then a personal sentiment from the author to show how this can be effected.
At a glance the book isn’t boring, so I’m glad.
Based on the first few pages the book seems to be about unlocking a new mindset and steering away from a fixed one. In order to reach a new potential first you must unlock it mentally and then physically and mentally your potential grows.
This teacher was promoting a negative learning environment. This can have possibly effects on the students view on themselves. Therefore making it harder for them to become who they want to be/accomplishments.
It’s important to not put a negative or rigid view on learning.
She believed this to such an extreme that the class was sorted from highest to lowest iq. Only giving the highest tester trusted task.
Delivering notes to principal
Clapping eraser
Simple task (requires high iq?)
Problem with this belief
Many forms of iq!
The idea is the view you adopt on yourself can shape you into the person you want to be in the future. Why does this work? The author mentions that in sixth grade she had a teacher named Mrs. Wilson. Who believed that iq was set and stone.
In my car reading out loud because it helps me understand better than I explain what I read in my own words out loud. Embarrassed to do it in a building with other students.
It’s interesting that the author of this book wrote it because she was always curious about how children coped with failure. And by studying she learned that they see it as a learning opportunity to get smarter.
What is important to train?
Binet says judgement, memory, and attention will “literally” increase our intelligence. Although this book doesn’t mention how to do this, I’m sure it will mention it or if curious enough I can research more on my own.
Annotating while reading don’t have any stick notes and this book is a rental.
The easiest way for me to understand his belief is that the individual intelligence of a person is not fixed, but can be trained like a sport.

Albert Binet recognized that it’s not always the people who start out the smartest end up bring the smartest.
He believed that quantity of intelligence isn’t limited, but can be trained.

Day 3: August 26th, 2026
I went to my exercise science class, forgot my assignment and sped back to get it. Talked in a group setting and then I went work at my off campus job. I noticed I’m more social at that job, probably because I know everyone.
$CATE 🌝
