Recent mass shootings have stirred up quite a bit of talk on how the media shouldn’t mention the shooter’s name or motivation behind it. Seems controversial but I believe it’s a step in the right direction to help prevent future incidents. Thoughts? #MCOM02

I know it would be difficult to implement and is contrary to human nature - but I think we ought to explore not publicizing the identities or motivations of mass shooters. Would discourage those seeking notoriety or to spread twisted beliefs.
