I have a handful of IB seniors who I've now taught for 3 years straight...thinking back to them as beginning sophomores makes me so happy ❤ And now they are talking about which college they want to go to and my heart could literally burst with pride.

As part of an internship in college, I actually got to visit The NYT and talk with some of their editors about how they decided what would go on the front page of the Sept. 12, 2001 edition. I will never forget that experience, and I will never forget this front page either. 💔

I miss my kids. I miss my colleagues. I miss being able to pop into the library to check out new releases. I miss scarfing down my lunch in 25 minutes. I miss in-person PLCs. I miss class discussions. I miss questions. I even miss lunch duty and the jammed copy machine. 💔
