Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif stated:

“Israel is a source of evil and suffering for humanity. While peace talks are taking place in Islamabad, a massacre is being carried out in Lebanon. Innocent civilians are being killed by Israel ��� first in Gaza, then Iran, and now Lebanon — and the bloodshed continues relentlessly.”

王毅表示，巴方在伊斯兰堡刚刚举办四方外长会谈，就马不停蹄到访北京，共同讨论如何缓和中东紧张局势，中方对此表示欢迎。巴方为促和止战奔走斡旋，体现了维护地区和世界和平的坚定意志。中巴双方及时就重大国际地区问题进行战略沟通，深化战略协作，正是中巴命运共同体的应有之义。中方支持并期待巴方为缓局降温、恢复和谈发挥独特和重要作用。这一进程并非易事，但巴方的斡旋努力符合各方共同利益。只有停火止战，才能避免战争影响外溢蔓延，才能避免更多人员伤亡��失，才能保障霍尔木兹海峡安全，维护国际能源安全和产供链稳定。中方愿同巴方共同努力，克服困难，排除干扰，尽快平息战火，创造和平机会，打开和谈之窗。
