Civilians rushed to rescue a girl trapped in a burning apartment after an Israeli attack struck a building in Gaza City earlier this morning, leaving her stranded in an apartment engulfed with flames and thick smoke.

A 15-year-old boy has been killed in an apparent Israeli double-tap strike as he rushed to help a paramedic wounded in an attack moments before. Israel has killed around one child per day in Gaza since the 2025 ‘ceasefire’.

The common man needs to decide how long they will allow these Waderas to abuse them, kill them, crush them under their boots, and thrash commoners whenever it suits these Waderas.
In the end, when some action is taken, these Waderas present their servants to the police, and once again, another common man bears the punishment on behalf of the masters of the land.
This time, in the case of Prof. Dr. Arif Khan Saqi, the community of teachers and his students took a stand, and civil society has shown support from all corners. Imagine what happens to someone who does not have anyone to stand up for them. Since yesterday, the family, under pressure from society, has reportedly been reaching out for a compromise.
This is a common and familiar strategy. Intoxicated by their power, these Waderas resort to the same tactics every time they believe they can get away without serious consequences.
Let's make this case an example. If we cannot fight them, at least we can boycott them.

Hon Home Minister, Sindh, says "Naam Bata Dain Mir Raza Ko Kis Nay Mara Hum Usay Latka Daytay Hain." Ensuring killer is found is your responsibility as Home Minister. Yet you hide behind Commission, resist forming JIT & continue to say "murder hai ya jo bhi hai" to create doubts.

Karachi is the 4th worst city in the world. The two of the three worse than us are under civil war and the third went through hundreds of killings during anti-government protests. This is where PPP’s 18 year rule has brought Karachi. One of the least liveable cities in the world.
As soon as the PPP government came, it did away with effective and funded local government and even in the 26th and 27th amendments it opposed any effective local government proposal. It has no intention to devolve power to local levels anywhere in Sindh.
PPP has instituted horrendous discrimination against all residents of Karachi, whether in government jobs, in development work, and even in the supply of drinking water. For 38% of the provincial population it is not even willing to give 1% of the provincial share of water. This should not happen in any civilised polity.
Now powerful stakeholders are talking about real devolution, either to local governments, administrative units or smaller provinces. I don’t know where this process will lead. But something must be done and done so urgently.
Those who oppose this should spend one month in Karachi and experience broken roads, garbage strewn everywhere, buying drinking water, having no public transport, kids dying by falling in manholes and sewage water randomly accumulating in streets. Visiting a police station, trying to get a permit from Sindh Building Control Authority or getting a property registered will further concentrate their minds. Then you will understand life in Karachi under PPP.
2 weeks back when the oil prices crashed we were told by the supporters of this arrangement in the name of government that the lower prices can't be transferred immediately due to trasit time blah blah... What happened now when the prices shot up 3 days back??
Every time I've lost money on a stock, I skipped one of these five steps.
Every single time.
Step one: Long-term ROIC. Is this business consistently earning strong returns on the capital it deploys? This separates quality businesses from average ones.
Step two: Product price and raw material trends. This tells me whether profits will rise or fall in the next 12 months, before the market figures it out.
Step three: Forward PE. What am I paying relative to next year's earnings, not last year's.
Step four: Government policy. Any regulatory change coming for this sector that could help or hurt?
Step five: Is there recent momentum in this stock?
Most Pakistani investors skip all five.
They buy on WhatsApp forwards instead.
That's not investing. It's hoping with your life savings on the line.
Which of these five do you actually apply? Please share in the comments.
After many years we might be seeing a new fertilizer plant in Pakistan.
Under CPEC 2.0, FFC has signed a feed study agreement with a Chinese partner to build a new fertiliser plant, one that converts Thar coal into gas, and gas into urea.
A roughly $1 billion investment. 0.7 million tons of urea capacity. Potentially Rs 10 added to earnings per share once it runs. And likely tax exemptions in a special economic zone.
That is a serious number for any shareholder.
But here is the honest part most excited headlines leave out:
This plant will not come online until around 2031/2032.
Five to six years away. Feed studies become final
investment decisions slowly. Costs move. Policies change.
A lot can happen between a signed study and a running plant.
So is this good news? Genuinely, yes.
Is it a reason the stock should move tomorrow? May be not.
This is the discipline value investing demands:
separating a real long-term catalyst from a short-term reason to get excited.
Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day.
400 of them are now worth over $100 million.
These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries.
Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000.
Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous."
The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before.
Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.
They're now taking the credit for bringing BYD to Pakistan 😭😭😭
I am sure Habibullah Khan Sb (HUBCO walay) will be crying somewhere in the corner reading this post!
