My Memorable Trip to Gilgit — 🏔️🇵🇰

Some trips are for business. Some are for the soul. My trip to Gilgit-Baltistan was for the soul.

Nestled between the mighty Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindu Kush ranges, Gilgit is truly Paradise on Earth. From the turquoise waters of Attabad Lake to the majestic peaks of Hunza Valley, every view was a masterpiece painted by Allah.

But more beautiful than the mountains were the people.

The love, respect, and hospitality I received from the people and the government of Gilgit-Baltistan is etched in my heart forever. Pure hearts. Warm smiles. Brotherhood that needs no language. ❤️

This trip reminded me why the bond between UAE 🇦🇪 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 is so special — it's a bond of mountains of respect and rivers of brotherhood.

A special thank you to all my brothers and sisters in Gilgit for making this visit unforgettable. You welcomed me as family, and I left as family.

The missile and drone attacks carried out yesterday against the United Arab Emirates are condemnable.

A lot of misinformation about UAE deporting Pakistanis is being peddled around. Deportation is a regular thing in UAE. People of various nationalities get deported for various reasons. When visiting or living in an other country, it is important to comply with and respect the local laws. Spreading this misinformation is a deliberate act to create divisions. Pakistan & UAE share a special bond which has been time tested. History speaks volumes. 🇦🇪🇵🇰❤️
