أفتى المرجع الديني الأعلى السيد علي السيستاني (دام ظلّه) بعدم جواز إلقاء مياه المجاري غير المعالجة، والنفايات الصلبة، والمخلّفات الطبية والكيميائية في الأنهار؛ لما يؤدي إلى الإضرار العام بالناس.

وجاءت الفتوى في جوابٍ صادر عن مكتب سماحته، ردًّا على استفتاءٍ تقدّم به جمعٌ من المؤمنين، إذ أكّد (دام ظلّه) أن من يرتكب هذه الأفعال المخالفة آثمٌ شرعًا، ويكون ضامنًا لما يترتب عليها من أضرار في بعض صور المسألة.

وأكد جواب الاستفتاء بأن: "لا ترخيص في مخالفة القوانين والتعليمات الصادرة من الجهات المختصة، وعلى الجهات المسؤولة توفير السبل البديلة للتخلّص من تلك المخلّفات المذكورة".

ودعا سماحة المرجع الديني الأعلى الناس إلى التحلّي بالحكمة والمسؤولية تجاه أمر يرتبط بمصالح الجميع.

MBA is a professional course. Many students work alongside studies. Forcing full attendance again blocks them from earning while clearing backlogs, which defeats the purpose of flexible academic systems. (6/8)

Also, this seems limited to the management department. If Kashmir University has no clear rule mandating repeat attendance for backlog students, on what basis is Islamia College enforcing this? (7/8)

Delhi HC has already questioned strict 75% attendance as a ground to bar exams. Even if applied earlier, why enforce attendance again now for backlogs? This feels like double penalty. (5/8)
