@cb_doge If Elon is really that concerned about villages that lack internet coverage then he should provide internet at a bare minimum price of around $2 per month that is even lower than that of local providers
@elonmusk India has granted GMPCS licences to Starlink, OneWeb, and Jio, with all three currently going through the same security-assessment process before spectrum can be allocated.
@being_pnp Inter satellite links could potentially reroute Indian users traffic through foreign gateways, bypassing domestic restrictions and complicating emergency internet shutdowns.
@being_pnp Starlink's satellites can communicate with each other and networks can potentially route traffic through space before bringing it down to Earth. Therefore simply saying we have an Indian gateway doesn't by itself prove that every conceivable routing path is under Indiaโs control
@being_pnp It's not all about the user data .It's about provisonal authority during national emergency and crises. Even if govt shut down the internet access starlink can easily bypass all restrictions.
@PrithviRPatil@cb_doge@Starlink My apologies. I have gone through it and yes there are some serious security concerns with Starlink. They should not be allowed to operate until they comply with the government's security requirements.
