Learn from your past and aim to not make the same mistakes again. A new chapter awaits you each day when you wake. Aim to be a better person today than you were yesterday. Donโt overlook even small acts of goodness. They do make a difference.
Do You Know Him? The man who always stands behind the Imams in Masjid Al-Haram that we see in the videos.
He is Dr Abdul 'Azeez Al-Hajj, his position is called โฒโฒ Al-fatih' Alal Imaam โฒโฒ means he is assigned to correct imams once they miss an ayah or make a mistake in ayah being the same.
[This position should memorize the Quran, word by word, as well as the numbers of each verse, surah and page, including the meaning of the Quran and its interpretation and other knowledge about the Quran.
Yes of course! It takes a person with a high level of concentration to notice mistakes in recitation during salah.
May Allah be pleased with him.
Islam is a Religion of submission, you must do as God's messenger did in terms of Payer, if there's any mistake (as a human being, nobody is above mistakes) make the correction. Masha Allฤh
Announcement
Alแธฅmadulillah, for almost fifteen years, I have been directly managing my social media accounts, and its been a very useful learning experience. While of course there is much benefit online, it is time for me to move on.
As I come close to beginning my fifth decade on this earth, and my responsibilities increase, I need to concentrate more on writing and research, and prepare for my journey onwards.
I have decided to withdraw from social media and concentrate on other projects.
Social media has its utility, but for me I believe the best use of my time is elsewhere (and yes, the negatives of the online environment are a factor in this decision). I will no longer be monitoring Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other outlet, nor will I be posting directly on them. Instead, my admin will take over my accounts, and mainly post about activities or projects or lectures that Iโm involved with.
I ask Allah to forgive my sins and mistakes, and guide me to be of benefit to the Ummah.
Your brother,
Yasir
No matter how miserable you feel, remember that healing is possible. It may not happen overnight, but with time and the Almighty on your side, you'll find the strength to embrace life to the fullest. Keep faith, you're not alone in this journey.
There are some whose mission in life is to criticise, hate & look for negativity in things. They bring absolutely no value to your life. Quit worrying about them. Donโt let them sidetrack you from your real cause. Let the Almighty deal with them. Focus on your path. The straight path.
Don't ever rush your Salah. Sometimes we pray quickly because we think we have something better to do, something more important but whatever that 'thing' may be, it's in the hands of Allah. So pray slowly, with love and khushoo & then perhaps everything will fall into place :)
You donโt need peopleโs approval to be happy. If they have issues with you, itโs for them to resolve; not you. Just be sure you havenโt hurt anyone. You donโt have to prove anything to anyone. Let it go & donโt let bad feelings fester. Seek your approval only from the Almighty.
