There was a time I wanted to take my daughter, Nusaiba, to school. As I was about to leave, she insisted that we should use a particular car instead of the one I had already chosen. In case you don't know, the only reason Kwankwaso is wearing a red cap is to honor Malam Aminu Kano's struggle for the emancipation of the masses. No politician in our recent history respects and honors our heroes past like Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.

I can confidently say no politician in the entirety of Nigeria today loves Arewa more than Kwankwaso. If he is on a joint ticket with Obi, that means Obi is a close friend of Arewa, and he has our vote come 2027. Nigeria, sai Obi!

Gawuna is a seasoned politician that has been in the system for long, he knows who Kwankwaso is better than someone that’s not in the system. Him deciding to side with Kwankwaso I believe is intentional and I believe he must have weighed his options before that decision.

Now the decision to not field him as the Gubernatorial candidate for me, isn’t an issue because that would have been cleared to him before even joining the movement. You can’t call him clown when you know less or even nothing about the political manipulations there.

Do you think even if Kwankwaso was playing around with the whole Abba’s thing , Gawuna wouldn’t know that??

Kwankwaso cannot afford to field a weak candidate considering the political weight behind Abba. I also don’t think he would make the mistake of presenting someone he hopes to easily manipulate or control as a godfather. Instead, he’s more likely to go for a strong contender capable of standing firmly against Abba someone like Gawuna and then strike a deal if they eventually win the election.
