Good to see robust inclusion of women into the Somali army and well done to TURKSOM for helping to generate more highly skilled and trained female officers.
This is very good.
Col Aliya Mohammed Nur is among top cadets and graduates of TURKSOM.
From that little girl in the pink dress at my graduation… to holding her own Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from American University. 🎓
Sofia, you’ve always been my greatest achievement. Watching you become the woman you are today fills my heart beyond words.
The cycle continues. 💙 #ProudFather #Graduation2026
In times of uncertainty, nations need clarity, credibility, and leadership.
Somalia has many capable leaders ready to help move the country forward in this defining moment.
Dr. Jama is one of them.
Congratulations to him and the team behind this announcement.
We look forward to learning more about your vision for Somalia and how you intend to lead the country through this critical chapter.

Netanyahu's criminal trial resumes on Sun. A region-wide ceasefire, incl in Lebanon, would hasten his jailing.
If the U S. wishes to crater its economy by letting Netanyahu kill diplomacy, that would ultimately be its choice. We think that would be dumb but are prepared for it.
The Iran–U.S. Ceasefire terms are clear and explicit: the U.S. must choose—ceasefire or continued war via Israel. It cannot have both.
The world sees the massacres in Lebanon. The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments.
Israeli-U.S. aggressors have bombed the MIT of Iran. This follows attacks on other universities.
1,400 years ago, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that even if knowledge was situated in the distant Pleiades, Iranians would be capable of attaining it.
Aggressors will see our might.
On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.
Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.
MTG this morning: “This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most. This is not making America great again, this is evil.”
My prediction for the future of the Middle East or West Asia after the war US-Israeli vs Iran: if the current conflict continues the region’s map could be dramatically redrawn, with borders reshaped by power, war and survival.
1: Kuwait may be absorbed into Iraq, the UAE into Oman, Bahrain could face internal upheaval and new leadership will emerge and align with Iran and Qatar may fall under Saudi Arabia, leaving only Saudi Arabia and Oman as main surviving GCC countries.
2: Iran and Israel could emerge as dominant Middle East regional powers and eventually reach a fragile settlement
After prolonged conflict
3: Iran may form an alliance with Iraq, Yemen, Oman and Lebanon. Turkey, Syria and Saudi Arabia could form a powerful counter alliance
4: After Iran -Israel settlement, Syria may become the center of a prolonged bitter war between Turkey and Israel, groups like Kurds and Druze may align with Israel, deepening the conflict.
5: New global superpowers may emerge
China, Russia, Israel, Iran and Turkey. Turkey’s future strength may depend on whether it can be contain or defeat Israel in Syria failure; could reshape its position dramatically.
6: The influence of the United States and Europe could weaken significantly and they are no longer powerful nations anymore.
This may or may not happen it’s my own prediction but one thing is certain the Middle East as we knew it could change forever.
Your eyes are not deceiving you! This is real footage showing thousands of crows circling across and leaving Tel Aviv.
Historically, crows symbolize death and war, which is pretty on the mark for Israel.
From outset of this war, U.S. soldiers fled military bases in GCC to hide in hotels and offices. They use GCC citizens as human shield.
Hotels in U.S. deny bookings to officers who may endanger customers. GCC hotels should do same.
International law is dead in practice—driven by Western double standards on Gaza vs. Ukraine and silence on Israel–U.S. aggression on Iran.
Still, credit to President Steinmeier for condemning the violations against Iranians. Those who value the rule of law should also speak up
- Strait of Hormuz is not closed. Ships hesitate because insurers fear the war of choice you initiated—not Iran
- No insurer—and no Iranian—will be swayed by more threats. Try respect
- Freedom of Navigation cannot exist without Freedom of Trade. Respect both—or expect neither
For a man so reliant on goodwill of Christians in the United States, Netanyahu's open disdain for Jesus Christ (PBUH) is remarkable.
His unbridled praise for Djingis Khan, the worst slaughterer our region has ever seen, also fits with his current status as a wanted war criminal.
While my people are facing reckless aggression, I wish all those celebrating Happy Eid Al-Fitr and Nowruz.
Our ancient civilization has three millennia of history of defending Iranians and the region from outsiders.
We are now writing a new chapter in that story.
We're only three weeks into this war of choice, imposed on both Iranians and Americans.
This $200b is the tip of the iceberg. Ordinary Americans can thank Benjamin Netanyahu and his lackeys in Congress for the trillion-dollar "Israel First tax" that's about to hit U.S. economy.
