🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SONS: “HE STOOD FOR SOMETHING BIGGER THAN HIMSELF”
Sulaiman:
“He never chased power. He gave up everything because he believed Pakistan could be better.”
Qasim:
“We grew up watching him sacrifice for people he’d never met. That’s not politics—that’s purpose.”
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SONS: “WE DIDN’T LOSE A FATHER — PAKISTAN LOST A LEADER”
Sulaiman:
“We miss him, of course.
But what hurts more is seeing a nation lose the man who gave everything for it.”
Qasim:
“He always told us: if you stand for truth, you’ll pay a price.
We’re seeing that now.”
My friend Jemima's sons are now speaking out about their father Imran Khan's ongoing solitary confinement in Pakistan. The UN says the former PM is being arbitrarily detained. Watch their full interview below.
IMRAN KHAN’S SONS: “IF WE GO BACK, WE PUT HIM IN MORE DANGER”
Kasim:
Our cousins have been arrested. Our aunties too. Some are still in prison. There’s obviously a high threat.
🇵🇰 COURT SIDES WITH IMRAN KHAN: FAMILY CALLS AND MEDICAL RIGHTS PROTECTED
In a win for basic rights and human dignity, a Pakistani court has rejected a prison official’s attempt to block Imran Khan from calling his children and seeing his personal doctor.
Imran—former Prime Minister and PTI founder—is being held in jail, but his supporters have long raised concerns over his treatment behind bars.
The court upheld three previous rulings (from Jan 10, 28, and Feb 3) that granted him family contact and medical care, and reminded prison authorities that those orders must be followed.
The message is clear: even in detention, Imran Khan’s rights cannot be ignored. This is about fairness, decency—and a father’s right to speak to his children.

🚨 20M VIEWS IN 24 HOURS: THE WORLD IS WATCHING | PAKISTAN IS RESPONDING
In just one day, my interview with Kasim and Sulaiman — their first ever about their jailed father Prime Minister Imran Khan — reached over 20 million views on 𝕏 (includes our clips & livestream)
The global impact has been immediate: hundreds of articles, national TV coverage, and a wave of awareness that can’t be ignored.
Most importantly, hours after the interview was released, the Pakistani High Court for the first time agreed to hear a petition to release Imran Khan on bail.
Also today, another court rejected a prison official’s attempt to block Imran Khan from calling his children and seeing his personal doctor.
I urge the Pakistani Government, and any Government, to prioritize free speech and democracy above politics.
I also urge other social media platforms to join @elonmusk and X in protecting free speech globally.
The fight continues, and this weekend I have an important announcement and surprise for Europe.
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “HE SPENDS 10 MINUTES GIVING US WISDOM—THEN ASKS HOW WE ARE”
Kasim:
“We only get to speak to him for about 20 minutes—and the line cuts off randomly.
He uses the first 10 minutes imparting wisdom of whatever he’s learned.
Then the rest, he just wants to know how we are—our situation, our family.
We don’t get much time to ask how he’s coping, but I know he’s doing a lot of reading.”
Imran Khan’s sons have spoken out about their father’s imprisonment.
Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and cricket legend, has been jailed since 2023 on charges widely seen as politically motivated. In a new interview, his sons discuss his arrest, the conditions he’s facing, and the toll it’s taken on their family.
A thread 🧵 with key clips and quotes is below. ⬇️
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “HE SEES PRISON AS A STRATEGIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE”
Sulaiman:
“He feels that in the last two years, he’s learned more than ever.
He’s developed a strong roadmap for what he wants in the future.
Despite how difficult it is, he’s stayed optimistic."
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “THEY CENSORED HIM OUT OF HIS OWN WORLD CUP WIN”
Kasim:
“For the anniversary of the 1992 World Cup, they blurred him out of every single photo.
He was the captain of the winning team—and they still erased him.
They're that petty."
🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “THEY’VE EVEN THREATENED HIM WITH THE DEATH PENALTY”
Sulaiman:
“There have been threats to prosecute him with offenses that would carry the death penalty.
The reason we’re doing this interview is because the situation is getting pretty desperate.
But we’re still holding onto hope—you can only remain optimistic.”
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “THE LAST TIME WE SAW HIM, HE’D BEEN SHOT THREE TIMES”
Kasim:
“We haven’t seen him in a while. The last time we did, he was holding a rally—and someone tried to kill him.
He was shot 3 times in the legs. If a supporter hadn’t pulled the gun down, he would’ve been shot in the chest.
The supporter unfortunately lost his life in the process."
🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN’S SON: “IF WE GO BACK, WE BECOME A WEAKNESS THEY CAN USE”
Kasim:
“Our aunties have been arrested. Our cousins have been arrested. Some are still in prison.
There’s obviously a high threat—if we go back, we give them another way to get to him.
He’s always been worried about us coming during the height of tension. When they’re desperate, pulling random ideas—you never know what they might do.”
Imran Khan’s “real” story beats any “reel” story ever produced. What a man!
Well said @Kasim_Khan_1999 and Suleiman throughout this interview.
@Jemima_Khan, you are the luckiest woman imho, your man & your boys with him are just “Gold”. InshaAllah, we will see better days!
What is happening to Imran Khan today in Pakistan is what would have happened to Trump if the BS criminal charges would have been carried through to completion. Today, Khan rots away in jail while his country descends into a corrupt terrorizing Blob-owned war state.
X banned in Pakistan to obstruct democracy & disempower @ImranKhanPTI (NB: unbanned temporarily 7 days ago owing to recent India- Pak conflict but doubtless soon to be banned again any day now)
