The Bangladesh government has now opened up the broadband internet in the capital Dhaka - after closing it as part of its crackdown on student protests. But unless you are connected to the internet by wires (i.e phones/laptops) there remains no internet (though in Gulshan, the exclusive part of Dhaka, there seems to be some WiFi in some areas). The government remains scared.
