Me this morning: "idk why I almost jackknifed the feed mixer twice and can't pull this 10 ton load of feed up this hill."
Also me: uses 2wd maxxum with exactly zero added weights or chains to run the tmr mixer
@PlsntVlyFarmer Local motor shop has a winch that sits on the door opening and is much easier than a rope. Last fall, suspensionn cable snapped on the 24x92 as it was almost to the top for filling. Totaled it and took 3 months for the new one to show up. Every piece was pulled up after filling
@PlsntVlyFarmer Have an almost complete one in the shed I pulled out of the old 60' stave before I knocked it in to make room for a calving shed and one still hanging in a 72' but retired since the fill pipe and spreader were wore out. Used to run 6 silos. Another 4k goes on a drive over pile
When the neighbor calls about some bred heifers for sale, the checkbook somehow finds its way into my pocket and the livestock trailer follows me there when I go "just to look"
