His Excellency, Sen. @KwankwasoRM, PhD, FNSE, the NDC Vice Presidential Candidate, today, Friday, 25 September 2026, observed the Jumaat prayer in Gwarinpa, Abuja.
I was in Gumel, Jigawa State, today to offer my heartfelt condolences to the good people of the Emirate on the passing of the Emir of Gumel, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Sani II, CON.
In my remarks, I described the late Emir as a distinguished traditional ruler, a beacon of wisdom, and a father to his people, whose nearly 46-year reign was defined by peace, progressive leadership, and the faithful preservation of the Emirate’s rich cultural heritage.
I also take this opportunity to congratulate his son, the Ciroman Gumel, Lawan Ahmed Muhammad, on his appointment to succeed his father as the new Emir of Gumel. - RMK
VIDEO: His Excellency, Sen. @KwankwasoRM , PhD, FNSE, today presented admission letters to students who secured admission to study at Mewar International University during the graduation ceremony of Key Special Academy (KSA), Gwarimpa, Abuja.
My Visit to Ogoja
After visiting the Catholic Maternity Hospital in Ogoja, where I supported the hospital and its School of Midwifery, I stopped at the INEC Continuous Voter Registration Centre at St. Ben’s Demonstration Primary School, Ogoja. I observed the voter registration exercise and the orderly conduct of the citizens who came out to register.
Thereafter, I honoured the invitation of the Missionary Diocese of Ogoja, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), where the newly installed Bishop held his first Synod and unveiled a vision centred on expanding access to education and healthcare through the establishment of a school and a hospital.
In support of this noble mission, I made an initial contribution of ₦5 million. Investing in education, healthcare, and the welfare of the less privileged remains one of the most meaningful ways to build a productive, compassionate, and prosperous society.
I sincerely thank the Bishop and the Diocese for their commitment to serving humanity.
We thereafter proceeded through Okuku, Yala LGA where we greeted the people.
Together, through purposeful investments in people and institutions, we can build a better Nigeria.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
I was delighted to attend the graduation ceremony of Key Special Academy (KSA), Gwarinpa, Abuja.
In my capacity as Chairman, I presented admission letters to the graduating students who secured admission into Mewar International University. The Academy also honoured its outstanding students for their exceptional academic performance and exemplary conduct.
Special recognition awards were presented to the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) and to me for our dedication and significant contributions to the growth and success of the institution.
I urged the graduates to continue upholding the core values of excellence, discipline, and integrity, and to remain worthy ambassadors of Key Special Academy as they pursue greater heights in their academic and life journeys. - RMK
On this auspicious day, I extend my warmest felicitations to my brother, His Excellency Peter Obi, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
Throughout his remarkable life of service and leadership, Mr. Obi has consistently distinguished himself as a man of exceptional enterprise, deep conviction, and personal integrity. His humility and modesty remain exemplary in a world that often celebrates excess.
As our candidate on the presidential ticket of the NDC, he has been an outstanding ally and a principled voice whose dedication continues to inspire millions of Nigerians across the country.
I wish him robust health, continued strength, and greater impact as he presses on in his unwavering commitment to the progress and good of our nation.
Happy 65th Birthday, my dear brother, Peter Obi. - RMK
Alhamdulillah, I have arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia today.
