If I were the president of the country, I would have no more than 6-7 ministries. Any remaining ministries would be dissolved, and if any are still necessary, they would be managed solely by private entities without any government funding.
@Newzroom405 Nigeria alone has millions of immigrants from neighbouring African countries living and working without strict documentation. It’s an African reality, not a uniquely South African problem.
@Newzroom405 The ignorance of some South Africans is alarming. Some act as if undocumented migration only happens in their country, as if borders across Africa are tightly controlled. The reality is that migration happens everywhere on the continent.
@SBKforgovernor The people of Kwara Central believe everything in Kwara is their birthright. 90% of federal government appointees go to the Central. 95% of state government projects stay within the Central. 2027 would be different. In Sha Allah, your ego would be broken.
@SirJarus A major factor in the 2027 Kwara election is PDP giving its ticket to Kwara Central again. The big question now is: what percentage of voters, especially in Kwara North, will vote based on zoning sentiment and the belief that power should shift away from Central?
@SirJarus It is concerning that another candidate from Kwara Central is being positioned to succeed a fellow Central governor. If this pattern continues unchecked, it could create the impression that governorship is reserved for only one senatorial district, which may undermine the equity
@YorubaYcy If you grow up in a heavily mixed community like Ajegunle, the chances of marrying outside your tribe can actually become slimmer. You’ve seen enough cultural differences to know what doesn’t fit you. It’s not that any tribe is bad — the cultural gap is just too wide.
@bin_gbada There’s a big difference between “I will kill you” and “you are dead.” Creating someone’s obituary picture and presenting it as fact to millions is deeply harmful. The emotional stress of trying to debunk such a lie is not something anyone should take lightly.
@drDendere The AU has weaknesses, no doubt, but blaming it alone for Sudan and DRC is simplistic. Resolving conflicts is far easier said than done. The best approach is to avoid starting one in the first place.
@drDendere Solidarity with Sudan and DRC” — how exactly does that relate to xenophobic attacks? Do people think ending wars is easy? Even the EU still struggles with conflicts in its own backyard, and the UN has difficulty resolving major global crises.
@ronkelawal People never learn. It was “Immigrants for Trump” and “Muslims for Trump” until he won. Then his actions created fear across immigrant communities—legal and illegal alike. Many no longer felt safe or free to speak openly.
@matigary The majority of Nigerians in South Africa are neither poor nor unskilled. Many arrived with capital to invest in retail businesses or with skills that are in demand there. Anyone running a legitimate business in SAfrica was already doing relatively well before leaving Nigeria.
@Osi_Suave Fashola worked extremely hard to improve waste management, only for Ambode to disrupt the entire process with Vision Scape. From revenue collection to PSP personnel allocation, the process was very efficient.
@BarackObama@ObamaFoundation@colbertlateshow I used to love Obama a lot until he destroyed the Sahel. We are suffering from the consequences of the aftermath of the war in Libya.
The whole Sahel was destroyed when Obama gave billions of dollars in weapons to moderate terrorists. How can a terrorist be moderate???
@VICTEG1 Even without Chima's money, LP won the last election... We all know how HKT won the previous one, too...
APC knows how to win.. no, be me, go teach them..
@femiadebimpe@wandyvirus The Badagry Expressway and Blue Rail saw major progress under Sanwo-Olu after being stalled. Still, many SE living around these communities along the route voted for the opposition, showing that visible infrastructure doesn’t always determine political choices.
