मी आता आमदार किंवा खासदार नाही, पण आज माझं मन भरून आलं आहे.
महाराष्ट्र सरकारने छत्रपती संभाजीनगरमधील जालना रोडवर उभारल्या जाणाऱ्या नवीन ४०० खाटांच्या महिला व बाल रुग्णालयासाठी ३६० वैद्यकीय कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या नियुक्तीचा ठराव जारी केला आहे. हे रुग्णालय अशा जमिनीवर बांधले जात आहे, जी मूळतः गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांच्या स्मारकासाठी वाटप करण्यात आली होती. गोपीनाथ मुंडे हे भाजपचे नेते होते, पण एक खरे लोकप्रतिनिधी होते, ज्यांचे माझ्यासकट सर्वजण कौतुक करत असत.

जेव्हा मी ते वाटप पाहिले, तेव्हा मी त्याला विरोध केला. मोक्याची सरकारी जमीन अशा स्मारकासाठी वापरली जात होती, ज्याचा फायदा त्यांच्या पक्षाव्यतिरिक्त कोणाल��ही होणार नव्हता. मी त्या निर्णयाविरुद्ध लढलो. मला शिवीगाळ झाली. बीड, आंबेगाव आणि परळी येथील पक्षाच्या कार्यकर्त्यांनी मला धमक्या दिल्या. केंद्र, राज्य आणि महानगरपालिकेवर नियंत्रण असलेल्या सत्ताधारी पक्षांतील राजकारण्यांनी माझी खिल्ली उडवली आणि मी हरणारी लढाई लढत आहे असे मला सांगितले. काहींनी तर माझ्या धर्माचा शस्त्र म्हणून माझ्याविरुद्ध वापर करत आणखी पुढे मजल मारली. एका व्यक्तीने ��ध्यरात्री फोन करून मला पाकिस्तानात जाऊन तिथे रुग्णालय बांधायला सांगितले.

मी शांत राहिलो. मला माझे ध्येय माहित होते.

२०१४ ते २०१९ या माझ्या आमदारपदाच्या कार्यकाळात, मी महाराष्ट्र विधानसभेत असा युक्तिवाद केला की स्मारकावर कोट्यवधी रुपये खर्च करण्याऐवजी आपण गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांच्या नावाने एक रुग्णालय बांधले ��ाहिजे. आपली सरकारी रुग्णालये दयनीय अवस्थेत होती. गरिबांना अत्यंत वाईट वागणूक दिली जात होती. पण कोणीही ऐकले नाही. त्यावर चर्चा करायलाही कोणी तयार नव्हते.

म्हणून मी एक वेगळा मार्ग निवडला. मी मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाच्या औरंगाबाद खंडपीठासमोर जनहित याचिका क्रमांक ९९/२०१७ दाखल केली. शहराला कशाची गरज आहे हे न्यायालयाने समजून घेतले आणि रुग्णालयासाठी स्मारकाची जमीन हस्तांतरित करण्याचे आदेश दि���े. माझे वकील, श्री. शैलेश ब्रह्मे यांनी माझ्याकडून एक रुपयाही घेतला नाही — त्यांचा या कार्यावर विश्वास होता. ते आता उच्च न्यायालयाचे न्यायाधीश आहेत. त्यानंतर मी निधीसाठी सरकारकडे पाठपुरावा केला, निविदा काढण्यात आल्या, कामाचे वाटप झाले आणि आता बांधकाम अंतिम टप्प्यात आहे. रुग्णालय सुमारे सहा महिन्यांत तयार होईल.

माझा नेहमीच विश्वास होता की, हे रुग्णालय आमदार, खासदार किंवा शक्तिशाली राजकारण्यांच्या सेवेत येणार नाही — कारण सरकार आधीच देशातील सर्वोत्तम सुविधांमध्ये त्यांच्या आयुष्यभराच्या उपचारांची सोय करते. हे रुग्णालय गरीब, गरजू आणि ज्यांना खाजगी उपचार परवडत नाहीत अशा सर्वा

मला उद्घटनासाठी कदाचित आमंत्रित केले जाणार नाही. ज्या राजकारण्यांनी माझा विरोध केला होता, त्यांच्याच हस्ते रिबन कापली जाण्याची शक्यता आहे. पण जेव्हा कधी मी जालना रोडवरून जाईन आणि ती भव्य इमारत पाहीन, तेव्हा मी हसेन आणि स्वतःशीच म्हणेन — *इम्तियाज, तू करून दाखवलंस.*

आणि या रुग्णालयाचे नाव गोपीनाथ मुंडे मेमोरियल हॉस्पिटल असे ठेवले जावो. हीच तर नेहमीची कल्पना होती.

ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಟಿಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (SDPI) ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಸಭೆ ಇದೇ ಜೂನ್ 28ರಂದು ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಯಚೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ ಒ���ದೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು, ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅವಲೋಕನ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತ್ಮಾವಲೋಕನ ಈ ಸಭೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.

ನಾಯಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಭೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಒಂದೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷದ ಗುರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ನನ್ನ ಅನುಭವದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಳೆದ 17 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತಿಥ್ಯ ವಹಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಪಾಲು ಕರಾವಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಥವಾ ಮೈಸೂರು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಭಾಗದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವೂ ಇದೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದರೆ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ��ಕ್ಷದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ವಾಸ್ತವ.

ಆದರೆ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹಿಂದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿದ್ದ SDPI ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ದೊರೆತ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಮಧ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಕ್ಷ ತನ್ನ ಛಾಪು ಮೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ, ರಾಯಚೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಸಭೆಯು ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಬಲಿಷ��ಠವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಿಥ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ.

The Karnataka State Interim Representatives Council of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) will be held on June 28 in Raichur, located in the Kalyana Karnataka region.

Representatives from every district across the state will participate in this important meeting. There will be a comprehensive review and discussion of the struggles, protests, programs, and organizational growth undertaken by the party over the past one and a half years. In addition, constructive criticism, evaluation of leadership performance, and introspection will be key highlights of the meeting.

This meeting will serve as a significant step toward strengthening leadership. The interim report will be discussed, and goals and action plans for the next one and a half years will be formulated.

Based on my experience, over the past 17 years, the opportunity to host State Representatives Meetings was mostly given to districts in Coastal Karnataka or the Mysuru–Bengaluru regions. There is a reason for this if we analyze the party’s strength and electoral performance, it is evident that the party was not as strong in the Kalyana Karnataka and Kittur Karnataka regions.

However, the unprecedented support received by the SDPI in the Davanagere South Assembly by-election, where the party contested as the voice of self-respect for AHINDA communities, clearly indicates that the party is now making a strong impact in Central Karnataka as well. Similarly, this important State Representatives Meeting in Raichur stands as clear evidence that the party is growing stronger in the North Karnataka region too.

All necessary preparations are underway to warmly welcome and host leaders and representatives from across the state.
