When Prophet Musa (AS) received the Tablets, he saw written about a nation that would come after him. He said, “My Lord, I see that there will be a nation where if one of them intends to commit a sin but leaves it out of fear of Allah, You will record it as a good deed. Make me from that nation.” Allah replied, “O Musa, that is the nation of Muhammad ﷺ.” Musa (AS) continued reading its virtues until he finally said, “My Lord, make me from the nation of Muhammad ﷺ.”

What an honor Allah gave this Ummah. A believer may struggle with temptation, desire, and sin, yet the moment he walks away solely for the sake of Allah, that abandoned sin becomes a reward written in his record. Every time you resist what Allah has forbidden, remember that your Lord sees the battle in your heart and rewards you for choosing Him over your desires.
