That is why he (King Oyo)!was also able to write a WILL. He prepared himself before joining the King of Kings. May his soul continue to rest in power. May he continue to intercede for his son, Baby Oyo?
Congratulations to His Majesty Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I on his coronation as Omukama of Tooro.
May his reign bring unity and prosperity to the kingdom.

ABANTU BATOORO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
TWASWARA!
There comes a time when we must pause and ask ourselves: what kind of Tooro do we desire?
You cannot say you love the baby and then throw it away with the dirty water. Right now, we are doing exactly that, dragging the Tooro we claim to love down the drain.
We are a proud people with norms and traditions that teach us dignity, restraint and respect. Baragirakiki reminds us that even in difficult times, we can conduct ourselves with discipline and decorum.
Right now, we are falling short.
Tutajura ekikaali!
Let us self-regulate. Share less of what embarrasses the institution. Resist heated narratives. Comment less, listen more and lower the temperature.
We are not opposing teams.
There is only one team: TEAM TOORO.
Let us never sacrifice our culture, values and customs at the altar of social media likes and petty divisions. Our disagreements must never become greater than our love for Tooro.
Let history remember us not for the noise we made, but for the wisdom we showed when Tooro needed us most.
And right now, the call is clear: let us rally behind our new King and unite around Kujumura Empango on 29th September.
Let all our energy, goodwill and efforts go towards making it a success and marking this new chapter with the dignity, unity and respect it deserves.
Let us also stop speculating about positions and titles. His Majesty the King will make those decisions, in his wisdom and at the appropriate time. Let us give him that space and respect the Crown.
IN ALL, TOORO COMES FIRST.

Many Ugandans don't know that Pope Paul VI, who visited Uganda on July 31, 1969, was the first Pope in History to visit Africa.
The Pope consecrated the altar at Namugongo and the kissed ground where Ugandan martyrs were executed.
Forgot to mention earlier that Ugandan President Milton Obote and First Lady Miria Obote, Julius Nyerere of Tanzania and Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia welcomed the Pope at 3pm.
To commemorate the visit, President Milton Obote named the new road from Namugongo to Kira Road junction Pope Paul VI Road.
Noticed that the Pope arrived in an East Africa Airways Chartered Plane. The airline was jointly run by Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and collapsed in 1977.
📸 King Oyo honored between Musuuga Charles Kamurasi & Prince Jimmy Mugenyi of Tooro in the 90s.
Musuuga Charles Kamurasi has lived & seen our kingdom transition through the reigns. He has seen three mighty Kings of Tooro fall including his father, but has relentlessly remained steadfast all his life - upholding the values & traditions of Tooro with a passion.
It's in the same vein he speaks with authority & commands admirable respect among the people of Tooro. He has sacrificed himself for the goodness of Tooro & proudly prevailed without compromise.
We adore you Musuuga! Forever you have inscribed your name in Tooro & Ugandan folklore.

Two weeks ago, as part of our resource mobilization strategy for #Bamutakudde Village, we announced a vision to launch Bamutakudde Catering Services an enterprise designed to create employment for 10-15 women in our community.
I am thrilled to share a major milestone.
Chef Godwin, a leading professional chef in Uganda, responded to our call. On Sunday, he and his team of 6 chefs volunteered a full day to train our women in professional culinary skills, including pilau rice preparation and professional fruit carving for catering.
Beyond the training, Chef Godwin has committed to:
1. 10 full scholarships for 10 women for a 4-month professional culinary program
2. Donation of start-up equipment (saucepans, food warmers, dishes)
3. Strategic partnership on his major catering projects
This is a powerful example of skills transfer, private sector - community partnership, and women's economic empowerment in action.
Sincere gratitude to Chef Godwin and his team for investing in rural women.
