“The APC has more problems within than outside. Meanwhile, the opposition is resilient, tough and talking big.”
— Senator Ali Ndume, APC, Borno South.
When warnings like this come from inside the ruling party, they deserve attention.
Today I am in Kafanchan, I sat with the leaders of the African Democratic Congress from all eight Local Government Areas of Zone 3.
I was not alone. The leadership of my Campaign Council and a strong contingent of supporters were with me not as spectators, but as witnesses to a deliberate act of political consultation.
Zone 3 is more than a senatorial zone. It is a living archive of resilience, diversity, and unfinished business. From Jema’a to Zangon Kataf, from Kachia to Kaura, the people of Southern Kaduna have carried burdens that successive administrations preferred to manage rather than resolve. What I encountered this morning was not mere party machinery. It was a gathering of men and women who understand the difference between representation and presence.
We spoke plainly. About security and the right to live without fear. About roads that still isolate communities. About young people whose talents remain trapped by limited opportunity. About farmers who need more than seasonal promises. About the quiet expectation that leadership should finally mean something concrete in their lives.
These conversations matter because power, when it is not grounded in listening, becomes performance. I did not come to Kafanchan to deliver a speech. I came to measure the distance between what we claim and what the people actually experience—and to shorten that distance with intention.
The African Democratic Congress is not building a campaign of slogans. We are building a structure of accountability that begins where governance has too often ended: at the ward, the LGA, and the zone. The leaders who gathered today did not ask for favours. They asked for partnership. They asked whether their concerns would shape decisions, not merely decorate manifestos.
My answer remains the same. The rescue of Kaduna will not be announced from one corner of the state and imposed on the others. It will be constructed through the active consent and participation of every zone. Zone 3 is not an afterthought in this project. It is a co-author.
To the leaders and members of the ADC across Jema’a, Jaba, Kachia, Kagarko, Kaura, Kauru, Sanga, and Zangon Kataf: thank you for the clarity and seriousness you brought to today’s meeting. The work continues. The structure is growing. The commitment is firm.
The people of Southern Kaduna have waited long enough for leadership that sees them clearly. That wait ends with deliberate action.

Since President @officialABAT Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office in May 2023, Nigerians have been asked to endure painful economic reforms in the hope of a better future. Nothing yet to be found,But as the country approaches the 2027 general election, is an important question remains to everyone in the country Are the sacrifices of ordinary Nigerians translating into a better quality of life ?? Rather than how we found ourselves in Economic hardship and cost of living, insecurity and protection of human life, corruption transparency and public accountability, democracy freedom of expression and respect for citizens.we demands all answers first from incompetent governments @officialABAT@TSGontweeter@OfficialAPCNg@ADCVanguard_@adamugarba@atiku@elrufai@UNIDIR@CNNPolitics@UniteSharon@AfricanHub_
Let’s reach every Nigerian!
As 2027 draws near, the people must know the real achievements of H.E. Atiku Abubakar, the leader who has always stood with the masses against the corrupt politicians. We will arm our brothers and sisters with the truth so we can smash every lie and propaganda they throw at H.E. Atiku Abubakar.
His record of fighting for the common man is too long to list at once, but I will keep bringing the facts to you, piece by piece. In 2027, it is Atiku for the people, or nothing!
Part 1
- Infrastructure Facilitation for the North; As Vice President (1999–2007), Atiku attracted and supported critical federal projects, particularly in his home region and beyond:
1- Upgrade of Yola Airport to international status.
2- Establishment of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Yola.
3- Electricity transmission infrastructure linking Gombe through Adamawa to Jalingo.
4- Numerous road projects in Adamawa (Yola–Mubi, Ganye axis, bridges, etc.).
5- During that administration, the Federal Government committed substantial resources, over ₦83 billion at the time, to projects across the Northwest zone, reflecting the collective push for Northern development under a government where a Northerner held the second-highest office.
6 - During Atiku’s time, asphalt roads were constructed from Yola to Mubi.
7- During Atiku’s time, roads were tarred from Jabbi-Lamba to Malabu and Belel.
8- During Atiku’s time, roads were tarred from Ganye to Toungo up to Jamtari.
9- During Atiku’s time, roads were tarred from Jada to Kojoli.
10- During Atiku’s time, bridges were constructed along the Mayo-Belwa, Jada and Ganye road axis.
11- During Atiku’s time, the Federal Technical College Watu in Michika LGA was established.
12- During Atiku’s time, underground petroleum pipelines were laid from Port Harcourt to the NNPC Depot in Yola, Adamawa State.
13- Atiku brought the CGC water project to his hometown, Jada.
14- Atiku launched the affordable health insurance scheme (NHIS) in Jada and in Yola.
15- Atiku was the first to bring GSM mobile communication to Adamawa State.
Security:
- In 2014, during the peak of the Boko Haram crisis, Atiku spent almost one billion naira of his own money to establish the Civilian JTF, who were familiar with Boko Haram tactics and assisted security forces in fighting terrorism.
- Education and Human Capital Revolution
Atiku’s most transformative legacy is in education:
1- Atiku built four primary schools in his hometown, Jada.
2- Atiku built the Government Science Secondary School in his hometown, Jada.
3- Atiku established a scholarship foundation for the less privileged in Jada, and every year he selects indigent students from every LGA in Adamawa State and sponsors them to university for free.
4- He single-handedly founded the American University of Nigeria (AUN) in Yola in 2005, a world-class institution that has become a beacon of excellence in the Northeast, producing graduates with global-standard skills while creating hundreds of jobs through its academy, facilities, and support services.
5- He financed the Northern Education Programme (NEP) at Arewa House, which organized education summits that held Northern governors accountable, leading to doubled enrolments and improved teacher quality across multiple Arewa states.
6- He has awarded countless scholarships to indigent students from Adamawa and beyond, including support for victims of the Chibok abduction.
- Economic Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation:
According to the Nigerian constitution, the Vice President handles the economic affairs of the nation.
During Atiku’s tenure as Vice President:
1- He led the repayment of Nigeria’s foreign debts.
2- Atiku led the federal government’s privatization policy, which created many of Nigeria’s major businessmen such as Dangote, Otedola and the Transcorp Group.
3- He ensured dormant government assets were transferred to private investors, which increased national wealth..
SIX YEARS AFTER LEKKI, THE APC STILL OWES NIGERIANS ANSWERS AND YOUNG PEOPLE A FUTURE.
Six years after the Lekki shooting, Nigeria is still waiting for a clear answer to one devastating question: Who gave the order? Let us also not forget that in October 2020, Bola Tinubu, rather than demonstrating the empathy and compassion the tragedy demanded, suggested that those who suffered casualties during the shooting had questions to answer. He asked: “How were they there? How long were they there? What kind of characters are they?” At a moment when Nigerians were demanding accountability for the violence against peaceful protesters, his response appeared more concerned with questioning the victims than demanding answers from those responsible.
The anger trending across the country today is not a social media performance. It is grief that has been left to harden into distrust. It is the pain of families still demanding answers, and of young people who watched their calls for dignity meet violence and then watched the country move on without the truth they deserve.
The APC has governed Nigeria through these six years. It cannot keep asking Nigerians to remember the dead while refusing to confront the unanswered questions. A government that cannot give citizens confidence that their lives matter has failed one of its most basic duties.
And the hardship young people face today deepens that betrayal. Petrol at ₦1,405 a litre means more than an expensive journey. It means less money for food, school, rent and work. It means a young person can do everything asked of them and still find the door to a decent life shut in their face.
The APC promised renewal. For too many Nigerians, the experience has been rising costs, shrinking opportunity and a future pushed further out of reach. No speech about growth can excuse empty pockets. No anniversary tribute can replace justice. No campaign slogan can erase six years of unanswered questions.
Just this morning, one of my aides told me about a young woman who was forced to resign from her job this month because her salary could no longer cover the cost of getting to work. Her words were as heartbreaking as they were revealing: “The pay no longer covers transport. Everything in Nigeria just dey increase in price. Feels like I'm working for Bolt guys.” Imagine that: a Nigerian who has secured employment, yet can no longer afford to remain employed. This is the cruel reality of an economy in which even those fortunate enough to have jobs are being priced out of earning a living. The policies of this government are stifling not only the unemployed but also hardworking Nigerians whose salaries have become increasingly worthless in the face of rising costs. This is precisely the hardship my Economic Recovery Plan is designed to address, with one overriding objective: to Make Nigeria Affordable Again. My policy response is built around relief people can feel: support tied to fuel refined in Nigeria, with the savings passed on to consumers; more local production to create jobs; protection for minimum wage earners and student support; and funding these measures by cutting waste instead of imposing new taxes.
Young Nigerians deserve the truth about Lekki. They deserve a government that protects life, and an economy that gives work a chance to lead somewhere. Six years on, the APC has had ample time to answer for its record. Nigerians are entitled to ask why the answers and the opportunities are still missing. #LekkiMassacre -AA

We are spreading Atiku’s message of relief and real change to every Nigerian, online and offline. Our resolve is firm: we will not relent until Atiku Abubakar is sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027.
Let me advise you, the North. I am a southerner from Rivers State, and I want you to think politically.
Dear North, vote for Atiku Abubakar. Don’t allow other candidates to divide your votes in your own region.
In much of the South, Atiku faces resistance because he is a northerner. In the South-East, many lean towards their own, Obi. In the South-South, the politics of a "southern turn" influences voting as at today. In the Yoruba-speaking South-West, tribal considerations will make them vote "Bola"
So why should you be the one to distribute your votes among southern candidates while they consolidate theirs around their own people.
In 2023, Peter Obi secured significant votes in parts of Northern Nigeria, particularly among Christian dominated communities in the North. Bola Tinubu also won more votes than Atiku in several northern states, including states in the North-West and North-Central.
Meanwhile, Atiku struggled to secure 25% of the votes in most southern states, though he crossed that threshold in Osun State. He also secured at least 25% in some other southern states, including Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta states in the South-South.
Dear North, no be una mumu pass. If other regions can vote strategically for their own, you too can make decisions that protect your political interests.
For 2027, think strategically. Don’t be the only one playing politics with an open hand while others keep their cards close to their chest.
— Alaibi Nnana Joseph
Dear Sir, @atiku
I am bringing to your attention, and that of the Nigerian public, a deeply disturbing statement made by a so called Distinguished Senator, Hunkiyi, in a political gathering, where he was appealing to Governor Uba Sani to continue detaining Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai until after the elections, which raises serious concerns about the politicisation of justice.
If confirmed, this act demands urgent investigation. No politician should be allowed to use state institutions as tools for political persecution or electoral advantage.
Sir, I urge you to bring this matter to the attention of the international community and relevant human rights organisations.
Nigeria cannot afford to turn its judiciary and anti-corruption agencies into instruments of political vendettas. Justice must not be held hostage by politics. Enough is enough!
"I facilitated the first meeting of Rabiu Kwankwaso And Bola Tinubu for Kwankwaso to become a Minister under this administration."
