Dear @DrSJaishankar,

We would greatly appreciate it if you could grant us special permission to visit Maliku (Minicoy) from the Maldives. It is only about a 2-hour journey by speedboat from the northern Maldives to Maliku.

Currently,it is very difficult to visit Maliku as we have to travel to Cochin first and then take a boat to reach the island.

Rest assured, even if we visit Maliku, we will not claim it as part of the Maldives. It will remain permanently a part of India.
