Tell me to vote, but deny me the right to see my vote counted. That is draconian. If results are final at the polling station, then let the entire country witness that finality in real time. Transparency is not a favour to voters, it is their constitutional right. Anything less is an invitation to electoral malpractice in broad daylight.
We are praying for all those workers trapped in the collapsed building in Eastleigh. The Red Cross is saying they are in communication with them. We hope there will be silver lining to this otherwise sad story.

So this is what is happening:
1: The Senate passed a Bill proposing changes to the law governing election results, including livestreaming.
2: The National Assembly deleted Clause 22, which contained the proposed changes to Section 39 of the Elections Act.
3:Media stations reported that Parliament had passed a Bill removing mandatory livestreaming. The National Assembly later clarified that it had removed the clause that would have made those changes.
4:The Bill now goes back to the Senate, which must decide whether to accept or reject the National Assembly’s amendments.
5:Bottom line: Parliament has passed the Bill, but the proposed changes to livestreaming were not retained by the National Assembly. The legislative process is not yet complete.
Conclusion; mchezo wa town is very much active through the senate
