We today evening paid a visit to the Buziga residence of the King of Tooro His Majesty Omukama Rukirabasaija Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV to convey our deepest condolences from President @HEBobiwine & @NUP_Ug fraternity to the Kingdom officials and the royal family following the Omukama's passing
We stand with the people of Tooro in this profound moment of grief and mourning. May the royal family, Kingdom officials, plus the people of Tooro and Uganda at large find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
May His Majesty’s soul rest in eternal peace.

This afternoon, the body of our deceased comrade Paul Musoke will be brought to our Party Headquarters for comrades to mourn him. Thereafter, it will be taken to Kirinya - Bweyogerere for a night vigil. Burial will take place tomorrow, Monday 31st August, at Bwerenga - Kawuku along Entebbe road.
May his soul rest in peace.
PAUL MUSOKE was a young patriot. A committed foot soldier. A disciplined youth leader who went through the @NUP_Ug School of Leadership. Last week, Paul's house was attacked. It's door was closed from outside before being set on fire. He sustained severe injuries before being rushed to hospital by the neighbours. Despite every effort, Paul did not make it. Yesterday evening, he passed on at only 27 years of age. Such a tragic loss. Paul joins our countless comrades and supporters who have died under the most painful, brutal circumstances. In almost all cases, perpetrators of these crimes are never brought to book. Paul deserves justice. Fare thee well comrade.
@Tyrese@Tyrese take a deep breath & think about your fellow black people. u came in Uganda but it was only safe because u were here they wanted to use u paint a picture to the world that Uganda is safe & it has democracy but my we are not safe & @HEBobiwine is in exile do U know why?
This hypocrisy is sickening!!
Why invoke Jesus’ name and pretend to be God fearing while standing comfortably beside a tyrant who tortures and kills people for fun? The very people you claim to care about!
Ask yourself what Jesus would say about standing with power while the weak are being oppressed by those in power.
If you’re just ignorant about what is happening in Uganda, then educate yourself. But if you know what is happening and you choose to endorse it because of the money, then your character and integrity is highly questionable.
Black lives cannot matter only when it is convenient.
ANOTHER BRUTAL ABDUCTION: Uganda's lawless regime struck again this week. On Tuesday, August 25th, regime operatives abducted a one Matthew Bagonza from his home in Entebbe. He has since been held incommunicado in an unknown place, completely denied access to his lawyers, family, and medical care.
Museveni’s brutal son, in his characteristic vile manner, posted pictures of him naked!
This is not just a violation of human rights; it is a disgusting, depraved attempt to strip a citizen of his dignity. This is the absolute peak of impunity and lawlessness.
Matthew Bagonza is not a figure within the opposition. He is, in fact, a close associate of Museveni’s son-in-law, Odrek Rwabogo. But Museveni’s rabid son has been given the leeway to humiliate anyone, including senior citizens, religious leaders, traditional leaders, diplomats, military generals, etc. Anyone who he deems disagreeable with his empty ambitions!
As we have consistently said, no matter who you are or who you work for in Uganda, the breakdown of the rule of law affects us all. Yesterday, it was opposition supporters; today, they are turning on people within their own system - including family members.
This weaponization of state security tools to settle scores- even internal mafia scores - must be fought by every Ugandan. We strongly condemn this illegal detention and the sickening abuse of power. We demand that Matthew Bagonza, like all those still detained incommunicado, is released or produced in a competent court of law.
Eventually, everyone will agree that the earlier we get rid of Museveni’s regime of blood and shame and restore the rule of law, the better and safer it will be for everyone.

No, this criminality must stop! The first time they did a cleaning campaign, people were brutalised and maimed. Today, they've taken in a notch higher - a citizen has been shot dead in cold blood in Ndejje! According to onlookers, the police and military committed this crime while forcing boda boda riders to stop and sweep. Just like that, an unarmed citizen lost his life to these trigger happy criminals!
