Who was less sure whether he'd finished, the Shadow Chancellor or the audience?

[Andy Burnham @andyburnham]

I will build the Britain my dad wanted to see.

'Water is a symbol of what has gone wrong with Britain. A service where the shareholders never lose and the public never win'

PM Andy Burnham announces plans for a law change to allow public ownership of water companies 👏

[PitchsideDaily @Pitchsidedaily_]

Did Pep know all along? 👀🤔

[Andy Burnham @andyburnham]

Enough is enough.

For years, people have been expected to put up with Avanti’s cancellations, delays, overcrowding, and a service that has failed them time and time again.

So my Labour government is bringing Avanti West Coast into public ownership at the earliest opportunity in March next year.

That means passengers, not shareholders, will come first.

More investment, fewer delays, and a renewed focus on getting the basics right.

We're putting essential services back in public hands and building a railway that actually works for the people who use it.

[Charlotte Henry @charlotteahenry]

Goodness. This is extremely moving.

[Ed Miliband @Ed_Miliband]

The UK will stand up for what is right.

[TOFFEE BLUECAST @TOFFEEBLUECAST]

I'm sorry but you need to give your head a wobble if your saying you wish Farhad Moshiri could get another chance at running our club.

The man employed Rafa Fookin Benitez

He wanted to sell us to 777 partners the Prem had to stop it, pretty sure they folded straight after.

His recruiting was absolutely shocking and he really didn't know how to run a football club.

If he wants to start watching us now fair enough but let's not go over top he's very dangerous running a club.

[Goodison Marc @jennoefc]

Kinel Beto 🤣

[Royal Blue Mersey @RBMersey]

Hayden Hackney changed the game for Everton, involved in both goals today.
Gem of a player 💎

Can’t believe I’ve just captured that 🤣
Unbelievable FUCKING GET IN 💙💙💙

[Cai Jones @ProducerCai]

Spurs haven’t scored a premier league goal yet. Didn’t even have a shot on target today.

GUESS who they play next

[Ian Croll @Iancroll1]

The level of disrespect the Friedkins are currently showing Everton is a disgrace.
No communication, no visible leadership and nowhere near enough backing. Moyes helped preserve their Premier League investment. Show Everton the respect it deserves — or sell up.

[Happily Dissatisfied @nocontextEFC]

We haven’t updated our press conference copy paste description since 2022

[Brendan May @bmay]

Nothing screams ‘anti establishment’ like eating oysters whilst discussing a half a million quid donation that your advisors spent hours in Mayfair’s most exclusive clubs negotiating.

These ‘men of the people’ are laughing at their supporters. It’s all a con and always was.

[Talking Toffees @talking_toffees]

Still no resignations is it?

The cowards are going to let David Moyes front it all at Friday’s press conference then

Kinnear was happy enough to yap a couple of weeks ago & put it on the manager to do better

One absolute coward who needs to be removed from his position

The 26/27 Squad photo has dropped gents ...

[Sean Ready @ready1878]

Need to pack it in with Moyes out shouts for season now as I wouldn’t trust any other manager to navigate their way through the season with this squad!

Guna be a bumpy ride (again 🙄)

[G. @geoc1878]

Moyes comments about winning a cup or staying it the league make a lot more sense now.

He’s been watching the shit show first hand.

[Joel @Joel_M_C1998]

Whoever sanctioned the sale of Beto without his replacement already confirmed and signed should be sacked immediately.

Unprecedented levels of incompetence that.
