HOW THE ORDINARY PRESIDENT PRETENDED TO BE A VICTIM TO EXPOSE AN INVESTMENT FRAUD
A man who alleged he was defrauded in an investment scheme brought his complaint to Brekete Family seeking justice.
During the programme, the Ordinary President took an unusual step by calling the suspect live on air while posing as someone interested in making an investment.
According to the discussion, the suspect believed he was speaking with a potential investor and provided bank account details for the supposed investment.
⚖️ The information obtained during the call may assist the relevant authorities in their investigation.
The Ordinary President stressed that with the account details now available, it is the responsibility of the appropriate law enforcement and regulatory agencies to investigate the matter and take any action they consider necessary under the law to protect members of the public from fraudulent activities.

TERRORISM TRIAL: HIGH COURT IN SOKOTO SENTENCES THREE TO DEATH BY HANGING, INCLUDING A FOREIGNER
A High Court of Sokoto State has sentenced three defendants, including a foreign national, to death by hanging following their conviction on charges bordering on terrorism and proliferation of arms.
Justice Muhammad Nuraddeen Bello gave the order in Sokoto.
The convicts, Yusuf Muhammad, a Nigerien, Jabbi Alhaji Yalle, and Kabiru Muhammad, were apprehended on 13th June, 2025, by the Department of State Services (DSS) Counter-Terrorism Unit in connection with cross-border criminal activities bordering on arms trafficking and terrorism.
Justice Bello found all three defendants guilty as charged and sentenced them to death by hanging.
The court also ordered the forfeiture of all monetary exhibits recovered from the convicts to the Federal Government.
A report says the conviction is the latest in a series of successful prosecutions by the DSS in its sustained operations against terrorism and organised cross-border criminal networks across Nigeria.
These newly surfaced clips of my interactions with Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola are yet another reminder that my commitment to the struggle for justice, democracy, and the liberation of Nigeria did not begin today. Long before many of those now occupying positions of power found their voices, I was already on the frontlines of the June 12 struggle, standing with Nigerians against military dictatorship and demanding that the people’s mandate be respected.
The irony is striking: many of the opportunists, enablers, and pretenders who either opposed, ignored, or later hijacked that democratic struggle are now in positions of authority and seek to suppress those who remained faithful to its ideals. They may wield state power today, but history has shown repeatedly that repression cannot extinguish a just cause.
These clips are not merely historical artifacts; they are evidence of consistency. They show a young activist standing with the democratic movement when it was dangerous to do so, and they connect directly to the same principles that continue to guide the struggle today.
Those who now deploy the machinery of the state against dissent should remember that every generation produces its oppressors and its resisters. The oppressors enjoy temporary power; the resisters ultimately inherit history.
They will be defeated. The cause of justice endures. The struggle continues. #TakeItBack #Sowore2027 #SoworeForPresident
Ammar Bashir of Rafin Dadi, Kano, is a person living with a disability who chose dignity and hard work over begging on the streets.
He earns a living through laundry services, which he says helps him feed himself and support his family.
Ammar is appealing to the public and philanthropists for assistance with a modern laundry machine to help sustain and grow his business.
@Minikothe3rd , kindly help connect him with the Kano State Government or relevant support programs that may be able to assist.
Thank you.
Kudos to the Nigeria Police Force IGP for his prompt action regarding this case. Judging by the viral video in which an elderly woman, said to have blood relationship with the victim of the jungle justice, late Malama UmmulKahir.
This DPO, Abdullahi Ibrahim Fakai must be demoted or sacked and severely punished for hangling this innocent woman to the aggrieved mob to k!lled her and watch them burn her to ashes.
He has betrayed his country and the very people he swore to protect.
Justice must be served and the world is watching.
May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace.🙏🏻
SAD NEWS: Last night, bandits invaded Kuda-Kuda village in Kagara Ward of Goronyo LGA, Sokoto State, killing four residents, including the village imam. Three others sustained gunshot injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospital.
May Allah grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus, bring comfort to their families, and restore lasting peace to the community.
With innocent Muslims most of the banditry victims, including a respected imam, what do those who continue to portray banditry and terrorism as acts of Islam have to say today?
JUST NOW: First, the DSS closed its case. Now, El-Rufai’s lawyers say there is no case to answer. The battle moves to the next stage. With Abubakar Malami, SAN, also present in court, we continue to believe that justice must be guided by facts, not politics.
Anyone watching the latest desperate actions of the dying Tinubu regime might be tempted to think they are signs of strength. They are not. They are merely the last kicks of a failing order.
We have been here before. We have seen it, endured it, and overcome it. The outcome will be no different, eventual defeat, disgrace, and the humbling of those who wield power against the people.
I urge all citizens, comrades, and freedom fighters to remain resolute and unwavering. I am unfazed by these developments, and neither is the momentum of our struggle. The velocity of the movement for justice, accountability, and genuine democracy remains undiminished.
Stay focused. Stay courageous. Victory belongs to those who refuse to surrender. #Sowore2027 #TakeItBack #RevolutionNOW
Meet Philomena Chieshe, a Nigerian 🇳🇬 clerk working at JAMB Office which collects exam fees, In 2018 she told auditors that a snake 🐍 swallowed 36 million naira paid by student for jamb examination.
A Northern Nigerian military man vowed publicly to enter the forest to eliminate the notorious Fulani bandit Bello Turji in Zamfara and other Northwestern states, but that very month he was arrested and jailed in Keffi Prison.
Here’s a translation:
Soldier: There was a day I made a promise that I would be the one to capture Turji. But in that same month, I was taken away and detained at Keffi Prison. You see, that meant my plans were frustrated. I had intended that, whether the government agreed or not, I would go in with my boys. I wanted to ensure that I, Aminu, brought an end to Bello Turji, because he is nothing special.
Journalist: And don’t you suspect that the news of your intention to go and capture him was what led to your "elimination" (detention)? Since there are suspicions that some high-ranking officials in the country are involved, perhaps it was a cover-up to send you to the "grave" prison
Soldier: That could be possible; perhaps that is what happened, because the leaders of this country are not good people. I don’t blame anyone else; I blame our own Northern leaders. If I were in Maiduguri today, by God’s grace, the issue of Boko Haram would have ended.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: We northerners have failed this country, and I say that with a heavy heart. For too long, we have remained silent in the face of the insecurity destroying our communities. Today, VeryDarkMan is in Abuja speaking up and demanding action on issues we should have confronted ourselves.
While insecurity continues to worsen across Northern Nigeria, it is disappointing to see some celebrities rushing to Abuja to endorse the government instead of standing with the victims. The North needs voices that will speak truth to power, not applause for those in authority.
