Man of Steel showed Clark becoming Superman for the 1st time, deeply inspired by BOTH sets of parents. Compare that to Superman (2025) where he's already active for 3 years, only to find out Jor-El & Lara were evil conquerors who sent him to rule Earth. MoS has way more heart.

@bellamycolorado Exactly, it’s only been a year and a half and they already ruined their fresh start by focusing on C-list characters instead of S-tier heroes. 😭 If the foundation is built on Peacemaker and Creature Commandos, the next 10 years don't look promising at all.

@james_mellange @afbrat1986 You completely missed the point, this is about the new DCU. At least the old universe started with an S-tier icon like Superman in Man of Steel. Launching a brand new cinematic universe with C-list monsters and a TV spin-off is a trash foundation. Read the tweet again.

Let's be real, the DCEU gave us peak visual effects and realistic fighting suits that actually looked elite. Man of Steel was literally the last solo Superman movie we got, and its design holds up perfectly. The new DCU is trying to replace it while looking way cheaper. 💀

@NotRealAmEye A change in direction was fine, but pivoting to Creature Commandos and Peacemaker is just throwing C-listers at a wall. They completely wasted their fresh start. And then an unnecessary Supergirl movie as the second movie instead of wonder woman or batman or an a list character.
