@eva_kurilova Yes, and you also get ppl saying it's not normal for them to sleep thru & they MUST wake up to feed until they are at least 6mo. I'm not waking a sleeping baby. My last kid took the longest to sleep thru thus proving it's nothing mum does/doesn't do.
@JenThePadawan The social media ban does not have a hidden agenda, that is complete nonsense, and I do not believe the majority of "the public" share that view.
@kitcalledkat@JenThePadawan Well, I hope so - many benefits to not using Snapchat. However, at this moment, there is much distress because no one texts and everyone uses snap. Thats how they socialize.
@ChantAngle64@FondOfBeetles@Glinner@lisakirbie The trans men I know in my town look nothing like that. One does have facial hair, but she is avg height and very pear shaped. Def female from behind. Her kid calls her "mum". The other one is a tiny pixie with minimal bum fluff. Her kid also calls her "mum".
@ThePosieParker@netflix I can't stand SBC but I found the film quite funny. The child was odd though. His voice broke at the end. The Guardian gave it 1 star, which compelled me to watch it.
@QcWynter Good on those women for drawing attention to this nonsense, which if addressed properly could lead to discussions about appropriate care and accommodation by sex not feelings.
@QcWynter Don't know the questions asked in hospital in NZ but do know my aunt with severe dementia is being accommodated on a mixed sex ward and has a male patient in the bed opposite her. Mixed sex wards are potentially harmful.
@blueboatmom@WitchyMcWitch I think their home page gives prospective members a clue that they will have to mind their language. Worryingly, it does not appear to exclude trans women from joining.
@blueboatmom@WitchyMcWitch We were not permitted to call other women mums/moms/mothers. Ppl could refer to themselves as that, but we were not allowed to assume, nor call them mum/mama if they requested it. This group went from normal to nuts within 2 yrs. Mothers, all of them.
@WitchyMcWitch Then we were told not to assume pronouns when referring to ppl in discussions. Then we could not assume pronouns of BABIES. It was wild. Eye opening. And spilled out of social media to the real world.
@WitchyMcWitch I was on a US-based FB page for vbac. Supposedly evidence-based. They decreed no one could be referred to as mama or assumed to be a mother or woman. A woman said she appreciated ppl calling her mama after her child died & to pls continue. Admin cut her off.
@MegaSausageHead Yes, they do. They don't accept visitors as such. Sorry, I didn't realise he was in A&E. It must have been a huge shock to lose him so quickly,
